Review of Time Cut

Time Cut (2024)
Zero stars for quite possibly the most ridiculous thing ever made called entertainment
2 November 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Zero stars awarded here.

First, let me just say if you haven't seen this yet don't waste your time. Second, if you haven't seen it yet I'm about to tell you why you should skip this. Last, spoiler alert because it makes absolutely no sense at all.

Very dreary opening where we learned the cherished daughter of a mixed couple was murdered in 2003. Now her younger sister, the product of parental guilt to compensate for marital misery, feels resentment for existing. Basically admitting to only existing because her parents already lost one daughter and she's a consolation prize.

A Time Machine is discovered in some garage during a day of remembrance and somehow younger sister gets transported to 2003. Specifically, around the time her sister is about to die. So she's faced with a dilemma of saving her sister and risk not being born or escaping back to her own time. She teams up with the science nerd of 2003 and through a series of other unimportant events convinces her older sister that she's from the future. From here just about every time travel cliche in the book is told

Except it's been told much better in other movies. Now for me, when it's revealed who the killer is I'm like, that's got to be the dumbest thing I've seen mostly because it makes absolutely zero sense. Basically, in one swift move with a blade in 2003 the who movie's characters we've gotten to know wouldn't exist in the protagonist life. On top of that, who exactly is the protagonist because one minute we see one thing but then another and possibly the most ludicrous ending even after younger sister goes back to 2024 on to return to the past. Like wtf??? I'm all for a good sci fi mystery but this was just lame. Not even worthy of being called a B movie.
