I mean I get the set up. And the twist midway is alright, but after that I just didn't care. And then the film kept going. And going.... Sean of the dead it isn't despite some of the camera work and cuts really trying to be.
Classifying it as any sort of comedy certainly doesn't mean it is funny. And as good as the Swedish actors may be, they do not sound natural with English language dialogue and it really takes you out of the film.
The film really could and should have ended about 30 minutes before it eventually did. I like Nick Frost in most things and Aisling Bea is very talented, but this unfortunately is a mess. Too many odd turns and parts trying to be too clever.
Just not good unfortunately. And a terrible and cheesy ending to boot.
