I guess Sandra Bullock was trying to make a movie with Hugh Grant for some time and she finally got her wish with this one. Both Hugh and Sandra are pretty good at both serious and humorous roles, and they succeeded with their humorous side in this one.
Both characters depicted on screen somehow match the characters of Grant and Bullock. The contrast between professional Bullock and agonizingly irresponsible Grant works in this movie. They were actually good couples to see on screen.
