This incredible film, by the ever great auteur Vittorio De Sicca, is definitely ever deserving of all the praise it has gotten - and a must watch for any lover of film!
The actors, all of them big names, all do an incredible job, and are certainly award deserving. All of this, of course, accompined by a stellar script for the ages, very well written, lots of high emotions, drama and humour.
The cinematography, cutting and editing is top notch, very much in line with De Sicca's expertise, and very beautifully put together.
Overall, truly a masterpiece that you will want to watch time and time again. Highly recommended for any lover of film!
