Joan Taylor's mother, Amelia Berky, was a vaudeville singing-dancing star in the 1920s. Her father was a prop man in Hollywood during that same period, but, after Joan's birth, the family moved to Lake Forest, Illinois, where her father managed a movie theater. She developed a love of movies from watching so many at her father's theater, and she graduated from the Chicago National Association of Dancing Masters. Heading to Hollywood in 1946, she enrolled at the Pasadena Playhouse. Victor Jory arranged an interview for her with producer Nat Holt, and she made her film debut in the Randolph Scott western Fighting Man of the Plains (1949). She appeared in quite a few films over the next several years, many of them westerns. She also made many appearances on TV series, and had a recurring role in The Rifleman (1958), but it's for two sci-fi films that she is fondly remembered by 1950s movie audiences: Earth vs. the Flying Saucers (1956) and 20 Million Miles to Earth (1957). After her two-year stint on "The Rifleman", however, she decided to retire from films, and did so in 1963.- Johnny is an actor and musician. He was raised in Batavia, Illinois. Academy Award winner film editor and also recipient of the Eddie award from the American Cinema Editors, Stu Linder is best remembered for his editing in several films from director Barry Levinson.
Stewart Bridgewater Linder was born on November 8, 1931 in Geneva, Illinois. He began his career as assistant editor on The Misfits (1961) and The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (1962), working alongside Hollywood's Golden era directors such as John Huston and John Ford. Thanks to his meticulous work on Seconds (1966), director John Frankenheimer offered him the editing duties on Grand Prix (1966). Along with editors Fredric Steinkamp, Henry Berman and Frank Santillo they composed some of the most fascinating car races ever created, and for their work in the film they won the Academy Award of Best Editing.
After the film's success Linden became an important editor, at times working as an editorial assistant in films for Mike Nichols in the early 1970's. With Diner (1982), a long collaboration with director Barry Levinson has started, spanning for more than 20 years. Their stylistic choices, rhythm and experience can be viewed in countless films and of many different stories and settings, from drama to comedy and suspense. Among the titles Levinson & Linder made together are The Natural (1984), Young Sherlock Holmes (1985), Tin Men (1987), Good Morning, Vietnam (1987), Avalon (1990), Bugsy (1991), Sleepers (1996), Wag the Dog (1997) and Rain Man (1988), where Linder was once again nominated for a Best Editing Oscar and Levinson won as Best Director.
The duo collaboration was abruptly ended while filming Man of the Year (2006), when Linden was found dead after suffering a heart-attack on January 12, 2006. It would be their 18th film together.- Producer

Paul Pawlowski has worked in the Hollywood system for many years, first in the corporate arena for Paramount Pictures followed by freelance production and post-production assignments on 23 feature films for Sony Pictures Entertainment. He has also helped produce dozens of independent movies and enjoys working with other filmmakers.
Paul holds a Master of Fine Arts in Screenwriting degree and is an award-winning screenwriter having completed dozens of screenplays.
Before his foray into Hollywood, Paul completed a Master of Science in Finance degree while working for Merrill Lynch and Lipper Analytical Services. While he enjoyed his time in the financial services industry, he always had a passion for movies, so he followed his dreams and has never looked back.
