Goofs

When Seth is at the entrance of the Mannon place after escorting the three curiosity-seekers out, he has his arms folded as he looks at them leave. On the next immediate cut which is a reverse shot, his arms are now hanging down by his side.

When Orin and Lavinia get back home from Boston, the entire scene takes place outside in front of the house. During the first half, Lavinia is either wearing pale lipstick or none at all, and in the last half, she's wearing dark lipstick.

After Orin comes home from the war and his mother makes him comfortable on the sofa with a large pillow behind his head, the pillow changes position in the following scenes in closeups and long shots of Orin.

While Adam Brandt stands by the bench where Lavinia is seated, he holds his hat by his side and then drops it on the ground. Instead of hastily picking it up and putting it on the bench next to him as he sits down, he seems to forget about it and leaves it on the ground after sitting down to talk to her.
