I never realized there was so much animosity towards this movie until I started looking for the soundtrack on Spotify! I remember watching it as a 10-12 yr old in the 70's and I was so scared of the "evil" band that I couldn't listen to Aerosmith for a couple decades! At that time (and still for most songs), I was never a big Beatles fan, so I guess I never talked to anyone who hated this because their Beatles sensibilities had been trampled upon. I actually love the entire soundtrack and think most of these songs were better than the original - remember, not a Beatles fan, but I liked them from the Bee Gees, Earth, Wind and Fire and even Steve Martin. I was able to get the movie on DVD and get my fix that way, but I'd love to get the soundtrack on my Spotify.
