A great Renato Pozzetto, in a not very high level movie. Some passages are unforgettable for the wonderful performance of this peculiar actor, that is in possession of a rather surrealistic sort of humourism. The plot is rather silly but it's interesting the "Comparison" between the quiet (even if intense) agricultural civilization and the metropolitan one (represented by Milan) too frenetic and little humanitarian. (Sorry for my English)

Artemio, a poor farmer grown up in countryside, leaves for the first time the village (he managed to avoid the military service). He's 40 years old and he wants to witness how is the big city life. Anyway it's not easy for him to deal with the rat race. There are three gags that deserve to be mentioned: the one in which he met his cousin Severino (the fart man), when he's involved in a spot related to washing powder well-known in advertising at that time and the TAC gag in the tiny little kitchen.

A mi piace tanto questo film, sto studiendo l'italiano da qualche mese fa. Quando ho visto il film ho capito quasi 70%.
Mi dispiace per il mio male italiano.
