Bud Spencer and Venantino Venantini's sons appeared in the movie: Luca Venantini (Al Haddin) and Diamy Spencer (Patricia O'Connor).

Bud Spencer's real voice is used throughout the entire film in the English-language version.

The location where the three suspects barricade after they where chased by the police and the genie is "2030 Park Avenue, Miami Beach, Florida, USA". The same location served as Mike Lowrays (Will Smith) apartment in "Bad Boys" 9 years later. So both times the location was used as a location of a shooting.
