Producer Sean S. Cunningham hired Adam Marcus straight out of NYU Film School, they worked together on getting a screenplay by Adam's NY buddy Dean Lorey produced. Their script "Johnny Zombie" got set up at Disney, where it ultimately became My Boyfriend's Back (1993).
