I have very fond memories of TFI because for one, it was filmed on a Friday and every time you watched it, the 'Friday Vibe' was transferred to the viewer.
I used to race home from work to watch it at 6pm on channel 4 (it was on for 1 hour) and then I would get ready to go out and party. It really got you in a great mood for the weekend.
I loved its wackyness. Every week they would have a guy called Will who sat there and took whatever Chris Evans (The presenter) threw at him. Evans would make Will go out onto the street and interview people and just act stupid...it was all great stuff. The bands on the show were amazing and so were the guests....They had very famous Hollywood movie stars or musicians, almost every week. It was a shame when it finished but it did die a death toward the end of the series and was never the same as when it started.
Still, Cheers for a great show Chris Evans.
