A new team of antiheroes is preparing to take over the MCU next year, teasing plenty of Avengers-sized action sequences.

Ahead of the film’s May 2, 2025 premiere, Disney and Marvel Studios debuted a new special look at Thunderbolts* during Saturday’s D23 Expo in Brazil, starting with an explosive desert chase scene.

The sneak peek features the titular crew of antiheroes traveling a deserted highway in Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian’s (David Harbour) big red limo when a military convoy begins tailing them and opening fire. As Yelena Bolova/Black Widow (Florence Pugh) hangs out the passenger’s side window to return fire, the humvees are somehow blown to pieces.

Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier rides through the wreckage on a motorcycle with a much bigger weapon in hand. “That guy’s so cool,” raves Red Guardian, shortly before Bucky stops and shoots up their vehicle with an expolosive.

Kevin Feige has given the green light on one Marvel Spider-Verse character who has long waited to earn his place in the live-action industry. As the ever-complicated bond between Sony and Marvel keeps the fans from aiming too high or dreaming too big, Feige instead makes all our wishes come true as he pulls the strings like an eternal puppetmaster from behind the scenes.

Marvel Studios, led by Kevin Feige, has decided not to add any new films to their 2026 and 2027 slate, focusing entirely on their major Avengers projects.

In a recent conversation at D23 Brasil, Feige emphasized the immense planning and production involved in the two upcoming Avengers films, explaining that no additional announcements are expected for those years.

Alongside the release of Avengers: Doomsday in April 2026 and Avengers: Secret Wars in May 2027, fans can also look forward to Spider-Man 4, which is set to hit theaters in July 2026.

Feige explained that the two Avengers films demand full focus due to their scale and complexity, making them a top priority for the studio.

Christopher Nolan is adding more A-listers to his latest film, with Zendaya and Anne Hathaway joining the cast of the director’s next feature.

Zendaya will join her Spider-Man co-star Tom Holland in the untitled Nolan feature that will also star Matt Damon. As for Hathaway, she will be reuniting with Nolan, having previously worked with the director on the Batman movie The Dark Knight Rises.

Plot details are being kept under wraps. Nolan wrote the script and is directing the project, which Universal Pictures will distribute. The studio has set a release date of July 17, 2026.

Venom 3 finally hit the screens a little over a week ago after a much-anticipated wait, and the hype surrounding it is still as high as ever. In a final mysterious run of events, both Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock and his beloved symbiote are compelled to make a devastating decision after being on the run from an uncanny military man and alien monsters from Venom’s home world.

Plus, as much as this film spun as the final one in Hardy’s anti-hero trilogy as Brock, it also introduced fans to a base-level acknowledgment of Knull, one of the biggest baddies in the Marvel comics. 1. Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps

Although the next Spider-Man movie is set for 2026, the trilogy will expand beyond the current Saga:

Spectacular Spider-Man (2026): follows a street-level Spider-Man fighting Kingpin (and Scorpion as his muscle) with the help of Daredevil. With Mj and Ned off to college, this is a good opportunity to introduce new friends: Harry Osborn for Peter Parker, and Black Cat as foil for Spider-Man.

Although The Flash gained a reputation for its tragic decline in quality, the series did help in forming some very meaningful bonds among its castmates. Grant Gustin and the rest of the main cast got to be a part of the series for nine seasons, getting to bond through the high and low ratings and the many months spent on the sets.

Both Tom Holland and Austin Butler are riding a wave of popularity at the moment. It was announced in September that the stars would be combining for American Speed, a film about car racing, drug smuggling and brotherly love. Dan Wiedenhaupt is writing the script, which is based on the true story of the Whittington brothers – a trio of successful racing car drivers who were arrested for drug trafficking and tax evasion in the 1980s.

The influence of Western comics on Kohei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia has always been evident. All Might’s illustrations are often portrayed in the Western comics art style, and the mangaka has admitted his love for comics on more than one occasion.

The first 8 minutes of the movie were recently screened during New York Comic-Con, and the sequence featured Kraven stalking and killing multiple foes in a prison. The violence was said to be surprisingly gruesome, and a second clip with "multiple very brutal kills" including murder by bear trap, axe, and tree stump - which reportedly splits someone straight down the middle - was also shown.

Tom Holland and Austin Butler are getting behind the wheel together. The in-demand actors have signed on to play real-life brothers who were race car drivers and crooks in “American Speed,” a film package that just sold to Amazon MGM Studios, according to Deadline.

NBC promises a star-studded Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade lineup for its Nov. 28 telecast, led by Alison Brie, Idina Menzel, Bishop Briggs and T-Pain, it was announced Friday.

Today hosts Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb and Al Roker will be on hand to present the annual holiday celebration held in New York City on Thanksgiving Day.

Also joining the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with special appearances are Jimmy Fallon & The Roots, Kylie Cantrall, Lea Salonga, Jonathan Bennett, Liza Colón-Zayas, Tom Kenny, Ginna Claire Mason and members of the WNBA Champions, New York Liberty, with mascot Ellie the Elephant.
