A sixth episode was released in 1995 titled "The Truth Shall Make You Free" which details recent discoveries made since the original series. For the 40th anniversary of the JFK assassination in 2003, three additional episodes were released. These three episodes included "The Smoking Guns," "The Love Affair" (centering on an interview with Oswald's mistress Judyth Vary), and "The Guilty Men" (centering on Lyndon Johnson).
In February 2004, two former presidents and the widow of President Johnson asked for an enquiry into the episode "The Guilty Men" which claims that Lyndon Johnson was a major figure in the assassination plot.
In the United States, the History Channel presented a special program in April 2004 rebutting the episode "The Guilty Men", which contends that Lyndon Johnson was a major force in the assassination. The History Channel also announced that the episode "The Guilty Men" will not be shown again nor released on video.
