Kuldeep Manak had also said in an interview that he spent all his earnings in Balbeero Bhabhi, but did not get the returns. Also, a part of the audience was disappointed with the false story of Balbeero Bhabhi, but because it had Veerendra's trademark entertaining formula in it, it was a success. Balbeero Bhabhi is still fondly remembered as one of his best works.
