Alice: My name is Alice. I worked for the Umbrella Corporation, the largest and most powerful commercial entity in the world. I was head of security at a secret high-tech facility, The Hive, a giant underground laboratory developing experimental viral weaponry. But there was an incident. The virus escaped and everybody died. Trouble was... they didn't stay dead.

Apocalypse isn't as good as the first film but it's still a damn good sequel & companion piece to that film.
The Apocalyptic scale of Raccoon City promised at the end of the first film is on full display here. The city is in a panic & the corrupted Umbrella company is locking everything down & locking everyone in. The virus has spread from the reopening of The Hive & our hero Alice (Milla Jovivich) is on the hunt. Jovovich is Awesome again in her "Ripley" type of role & gets to team up with other survivors including some left-behind S. T. A. R. S soldiers & what we get is a group of survivors trying to make their way to safety & rescue a young girl lost in the chaos.
The action scenes are well done with cool kick-ass stunts & slick feel to it all. The atmosphere is done well with a blueish look to everything & with a mist & rain it has a nice Horror film feel & look. There's plenty of Zombie action & the cool looking Nemesis creature that is like a big mutant Terminator & looks Awesome.
Mike Epps (Next Friday) is pretty fun as one of the group & has fun in his role.
Apocalypse is just a damn good fun action-packed ride, a fun late-night movie ride.
