Revolver: Calling the Shots (2002)
*** (out of 4)
This fourteen minute featurette has interviews with Sergio Sollima and Fabio Testi as they discuss their involvement with the 1973 crime drama REVOLVER. Sollima talks about how he got the directing job and then a lot of the running time is devoted to the two men talking about Oliver Reed. The two talk about his love for alcohol and how it would eventually change him over the course of a shooting day. There are some really wonderful stories told about Reed that fans of the actor should enjoy. Testi also talks about the moral of the ending and his thoughts on playing this type of character. There's certainly nothing ground-breaking here but it's a good featurette for fans of the film.
