The car Jim Morrison drives is a 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 which was his personal vehicle that had been given to him as a gift from his record company. It is hard to tell from the video but the car was actually "Mist Blue" in color.
The town where Jim Morrison fills his Mustang is Joshua Tree California, about 130 miles east of Los Angeles in the California high desert.
