Director Michele Placido wanted Paz Vega to play Patrizia but she could not take on the role because of scheduling conflicts. Anna Mouglalis was cast instead.

Stefano Accorsi and Pierfrancesco Favino appeared in the three movies directed, as of 2022, by songwriter Luciano Ligabue: Accorsi was the protagonist of the first one, "RadioFreccia", and of the third one, "Made in Italy", while Favino was in the second one, "Da Zero a Dieci"
