In the motion poster shared on social media yesterday, we heard what appeared to be composer John Murphy's score for the reboot. Taking its cues from John Williams' work in Superman: The Movie and, to a lesser extent, Hans Zimmer's Man of Steel theme, it's received a positive response from fans.

After deciding to skip Ccxp this weekend, Sony Pictures has released the first poster for 28 Years Later (via FearHQ.com). With any luck, this means a trailer isn't far behind.

The movie picks up after the events of Danny Boyle's 28 Days Later and Juan Carlos Fresnadillo's 28 Weeks Later.

We don't learn much here, though it's a fitting piece of imagery for the franchise which confirms that Civil War and Ex Machina director Alex Garland returned to write the script after previously penning Boyle's 28 Days Later and Sunshine.

The poster also includes an ominous new tagline: "Time Didn't Heal Anything."

Official plot details for 28 Years Later have been kept under wraps. However, it's no secret that Boyle is returning to direct this opening chapter before handing over the reins to Nia DaCosta (Candyman) for the second instalment of a planned trilogy.

Andras Hamori, the Hungarian film and television producer whose credits included Atom Egoyan’s The Sweet Hereafter, István Szabó’s Sunshine and David Cronenberg’s eXistenZ, has died. He was 71.

Hamori died Sept. 2 in Budapest after a long illness that prevented him from working in recent years, his friend Mia Taylor announced.

Hamori, who worked out of Toronto early in his career and was a partner in Alliance Entertainment, also guided the cult horror classic The Gate (1987), starring Stephen Dorff in his first major role; Stephen Frears’ Chéri (2009), starring Michelle Pfeiffer; and the 2014 History Channel miniseries Houdini, starring Adrien Brody.

Beyoncé absolutely dominated the list of 67th Annual Grammy Awards nominees, earning 11 nominations including Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Best Country Album. Charli xcx, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, and Post Malone each scored seven nominations, with Taylor Swift, Chappell Roan, and Sabrina Carpenter picking up six.

“Today we celebrate the amazing creative achievements of our music community,” stated Harvey Mason jr., CEO of the Recording Academy. “It was an incredible year in music and these nominations reflect the work of a voting body that is more representative of the music community than ever before. The Grammy became music’s most coveted award precisely because the recognition comes from one’s peers, and I’m so grateful for the Academy’s 13,000 voting members who take the time to evaluate all the amazing music, cast their votes and honor their peers.

Oppenheimer star Cillian Murphy shares a unique reflection on his career after taking home an Oscar for his role in the Christopher Nolan film.
