No. Hitchcock's Notorious (1946) (1946) is not related in any way to the 2009 movie Notorious. Notorious (2009) is a biopic about the hip hop star Notorious B.I.G. (real name: Christopher "Biggie Smalls" Wallace [1972-1997].
All songs in the trailer are performed by Notorious B.I.G. except for the in-between film scores. The songs are (1) "Notorious B.I.G." (aka "NOTORIOUS") ft. Lil' Kim & Puff Daddy from the album Born Again, (2) "Juicy" from the album Ready to Die, and (3) "Hypnotize" from the album Life After Death.
The unrated version runs 6 minutes and 40 seconds longer then the R-rated theatrical version. Most of the changes are new plot scenes. But there has also been added slightly a bit more nudity in the unrated-version.
