Will impresses the Princeton interviewer by solving a Rubik's Cube in front of him. In The Pursuit of Happyness (2006), he would impress the manager of a brokerage firm by doing the same thing.

Goofs
When Will interviews with the Princeton representative, the interviewer is fiddling with a jumbled Rubiks cube and sets it down to his right. When he begins to stand, you can see a second Rubiks cube that is fully solved to his left. The solved Rubiks cube is no longer there when he sits down, as it was likely the replacement cube that Will uses when he solves the puzzle.

A lesson learned.

When it comes to going for a interview to get into a big college like Princeton. You have to be hopeful that you'll get in and show the administrator of what type of person you really are. If you don't get in and someone does, don't give up and don't give into despair. But be hopeful for another opportunity.
