A touch of the old Irish

This episode exemplifies what we loved about "Moonlighting" when it started: it makes us feel good. At least, by the half-way point.

A young Irish woman hires Maddie and David in a bit of a panic. She's a leprechaun, you see, and she needs the Blue Moon Agency to protect her pot of gold.

They take the case. Well, it's been a long dry spell.

Neither of our heroes believe in leprechauns at first. Then curious things start to happen.

But apart from feel-good moments, there's the constant by-play, including one of their famous driving scenes.

Anyone who wants to know why we loved "Moonlighting" back in the day mustn't miss this episode.

Meanwhile, I don't don't have much sympathy for the lousy Irish accents. I'm a southerner.
