Sanctuary was the first television series in North America to start production using the new RED camera exclusively, capturing images at four times the resolution of a high definition camera. One of the only television series to shoot extensively on green screen with virtual sets.

Christopher Heyerdahl played Todd the wraith on Stargate Atlantis. Amanda Tapping was his co-star. He also played a villager in Stargate SG1, as well as some minor characters throughout the Stargate franchise.
