The top of the global rankings for #Alive is the first record among Korean movies released on Netflix.
This is the first film that made the biggest opening and surpassed one million viewers at the South Korean box office since the COVID-19 pandemic in February. After holding the top spot at the box office for twenty-one days, it achieved the top rank in video-on-demand sales for four weeks. Starting with this film, the vitality of the domestic theaters led to Peninsula (2020), Steel Rain 2 (2020) and Deliver Us from Evil (2020) until before the second pandemic in mid-August in South Korea.
The film #Alive topped the Netflix daily chart in 35 countries, including the United States, France, Spain, Sweden, Russia, Australia, Pakistan, and Canada. It became the first Korean film to top Netflix Movies Worldwide chart.
