Featured review
I can't go into inner politics as the (at the time speaking/writing) other two reviewers did (good reviews btw. I can recommend them), comparing things from Israel and stating a few things, the film is hinting at.
I had another perspective on the movie. I could see it as the father-son relationship, which was the main theme to me. Of course the underlying political significance is present (and more than obvious), but without knowing too many things about Israel, it wouldn't be right to point them out and/or trying to dissect them. But again, as family drama, this works more than well. I also thought that the actors were very good in it and I can recommend it, even to people who are not familiar with the situation in Israel.
