Lots of plot twists punctuate this interesting mystery segment, where Chuck is assigned by a top police official to help investigate potential corruption in a specific precinct. The point is to acquire photographic evidence of unspecified (as yet) illegality.
Bronson goes after evidence like a bulldog, with predictable opposition from a fiery police lieutenant, played by James Flavin, who is understandably protective of the department and its cops. One amusing sidelight as Chuck tries to identify and search for a woman who bumps into him in an alley where he photographs using infrared night photography what appears to be a cop getting stabbed. A girl working at the school where he looks through yearbooks to identify the lady is quite amusing sporting "hip" (for 1959) slang adds a little Generation Gap to the show, but unfortunately the actress doesn't receive a screen credit.
Mystery is tied up neatly at the end of the show, with a quality rapprochement between Chuck and the overly aggressive lieutenant.
