Rupert Grint is a talented actor who found success in his personal and professional life appearing as Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter movies. Noting that he started as one of the biggest child stars in the world, Servant producer M. Night Shyamalan told Grint he “shouldn’t exist.”

Shia Labeouf’s status as a major star in Hollywood may have taken a hit over the past few years thanks to a series of bad decisions, but you certainly can’t knock the man’s dedication to his craft.
The Transformers star is reuniting with Fury director David Ayer in The Tax Collector where Labeouf plays an enforcer for a crime lord in Los Angeles. And to say he’s a method actor would be an understatement, as for his latest role, he went ahead and got a real tattoo covering his entire chest and stomach.
Labeouf’s tattoo artist, Bryan Ramirez, shared an image of the actor getting the fresh ink and there hasn’t been this much attention for a celebrity tattoo since we saw Ben Affleck’s Phoenix Rising tattoo on his back. Now, after learning of Labeouf’s commitment to his work, fans are praising...

Actor caught on camera insulting black police officer.
Troubled actor Shia Labeouf took to social media on Wednesday to apologise for a racist outburst recorded on police video.
Labeouf was caught on camera insulting a black police offer following his arrest in Savannah, Georgia, on Saturday on suspicion of obstruction, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after he allegedly asked a passer-by for a cigarette.
Labeouf is heard in the video saying to the black officer: “You’re going to hell, straight to hell, bro.” When the officer’s white colleague asked Labeouf how he could make that statement based on the man’s colour, the actor replied, “It means a whole lot, bro.”
Moments later the actor, who was in the process of being fingerprinted by the officers, claimed he had been arrested because he was white.

2017-04-04T13:21:56-07:00Shia Labeouf's New Movie Sells Just One Ticket in UK
Ouch.
“Man Down,” a war thriller with Shia Labeouf, grossed just £7 ($8.70) when it premiered in a single U.K. theater over the weekend, according to ComScore. That’s the equivalent of selling a single ticket, given that the U.K. Cinema Association puts the average movie admission cost in the country at £7.21.
“Poor Shia,” said Paul Dergarabedian, senior media analyst at ComScore. “That opening could be in the Guinness World Records or something.”
The film played in one location, Reel Cinema in Burnley. It was simultaneously released digitally on demand, making the theatrical release something of an afterthought. It launches on DVD and Blu-ray next month, according to the Guardian.

Mission: Impossible 6 is scheduled for release next summer, and it'll be the first time a director — in this case, it's Chris McQuarrie — has returned to make a sequel in this franchise. One of the things McQuarrie did spectacularly well was introduce a wonderful female lead in Rebecca Ferguson's Ilsa Faust, and now it appears that he'll be bringing another leading lady into the spotlight in the still-officially-untitled M:i 6.
Variety reports that Vanessa Kirby is in final talks to play one of the new leads in the sequel, and though details are scarce, the report indicates that the role should be on the same level as Ferguson's last time around. That's a big part, and considering Ferguson is returning alongside franchise stalwarts Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, and of course, Tom Cruise, I'm starting to wonder if McQuarrie is in danger of including too many cogs in the wheel here.

Come And Find Me endears in a very Charlie Countryman kind of way (if Shia’s flick was your thing), where love motivates a regular Joe to throw himself to the proverbial lions. Think Mr. And Mrs. Smith, except only the wife is an assassin, and the husband is nothing but urban camouflage (aka cover). Writer/Director Zack Whedon never loses the reality that his graphic-designing hero is in completely over his head, and makes a better thriller for it. It’s still very monotone and a bit predictable, but Whedon stays true to the foolish things love makes us do, from challenging mercenaries to investigating government conspiracies – even when you aren’t Jason Bourne.
Aaron Paul stars as David, a boyfriend who wakes up one morning to find his girlfriend Claire (Annabelle Wallis) missing. No note, no fight the night before, no suspected cheating – just an empty bed and no answers.

We can never get too much Indy, right?
Well, that’s a good thing because Disney just announced another Indiana Jones installment coming from both director Steven Spielberg and star Harrison Ford, who showed off his action-adventure muscle once again in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Walt Disney Studios chairman Alan Horn said in a statement, “Indiana Jones is one of the greatest heroes in cinematic history, and we can’t wait to bring him back to the screen in 2019. It’s rare to have such a perfect combination of director, producers, actor, and role, and we couldn’t be more excited to embark on this adventure with Harrison and Steven.”
The first Indiana Jones romp, Raiders Of The Lost Ark, premiered in 1981 and the series collectively has brought in almost $1 billion in North America alone. (No wonder they want to get back on the horse!)
Details are zero at this point,...

There it all was, the raw shaky cam quality of images that showed nothing of the Sunset Boulevard one usually sees in movies, the much talked about acting chops of two first-time actresses that, lo and behold, are transgender women actually playing transgender women. As I sat in awe watching Tangerine, the first movie shot entirely on an iPhone 5s, what I couldn’t shake wasn’t the hype amassed along its festival and awards gala circuits. Thankfully, I realized right away the buzz was well-earned and trained my eye on the cinematic grain instead – it was purposefully tacked on as a tip of the hat to the unwieldy uni-purpose cameras. Yet another filmmaking tool breathing its last.
And why shouldn’t cameras go the way of the dodo, and the celluloid? That’s probably a question better left to the contingent of film buffs that, as their counterparts in the book v.

Whether its video helmers or stage directors, Sundance has been a reliable launchpad lieu for nouveau British talent — video helmer Fredrik Bond (The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman) and Rupert Goold (True Story) come to mind. Yet another directorial debut on our predictions list, there is reason to believe that this shot in 2014 crime drama might drop in early 2016. With a background in television (episodes of “Skins” and “Doctor Who”) prior to working on his directorial debut, Adam Smith directed the heavily sensorial and pulsating concert vid Don’t Think. Starring Michael Fassbender and festival fave Brendan Gleeson with a noteworthy trio of supporting players in Sean Harris (a must see in Yann Demange’s ’71), Lyndsey Marshal and Rory Kinnear, Trespass Against Us also employs the service of cinematographer Eduard Grau (Buried/Suffragette) and naturally an original score from The Chemical Brothers.

Oh Shia Labeouf, the walking enigma. Ever since Labeouf was caught plagiarizing, it seems that he has gone off the deep end. From announcing his retirement from acting (yet continuing to act), to his weird art shows, the 29-year-old actor has radically changed his image into an apparent high art intellectual. Whether you think of him as a genius or a joke doesn't matter because he'll just keep doing what he's doing and I think there's something respectable about that. In my opinion, I think he's somewhere in between being a genius and a joke. But onto the experience!
I was at work on Tuesday when I got a message from my friend that Labeouf was in the midst of a three day movie marathon of his entire filmography in reverse chronological order at the Angelika Film Center here in New York. I responded with all caps, We're Going. At 4pm,...

Since leaving the Transformers franchise, Shia La Beouf has made some interesting choices. No, we're not talking about his tabloid headline making behavior (although that is somewhat concerning), but rather the kind of films he's been making. His projects have ranged from the prohibition era thriller Lawless to the stylish Charlie Countryman, not to mention a revealing role in Nymphomaniac and the war drama Fury, and, of course, a peculiar turn in Sia's music video for "Elastic Heart." Now Labeouf is looking to work with Fish Tank director Andrea Arnold for her first film in the Us, appropriately called American Honey. The film, which Variety reports was also scripted by Arnold, will follow a runaway teenager who’s selling magazine subscriptions around the United States and somehow gets caught up in a whirlwind of hard-partying, law-bending and young love. Sounds like an interesting story to put in the hands of Arnold,...

A.O. Scott of “The New York Times” praised Labeouf as “excellent” and noted that he and Brad Pitt as Wardaddy, the hardened leader of their tank squadron, are a good match together: “There is a tenderness between him and Wardaddy that is one of the film’s subtlest and most intriguing touches.” “Labeouf is actually appealing and strong onscreen for the first time in ages," writes Todd McCarthy of Variety. "Maybe the army discipline was good for him.” “Fury," Labeouf 's first No. 1 opener in three years, has proven to be no small victory. His last was the second “Transformers” sequel. "Fury" also has grossed a little more than $46 million in just two weeks. That’s not bad considering his last three movies -- 2013’s "Charlie Countryman” and Lars Von Trier’s double helping of “Nymphomaniac” this year – grossed an average $376,843. As celebrity train-wreck recoveries go, thanks to the good will engendered by his.

★★☆☆☆Opening with an blurry-eyed, ethereal exposition that treats the audience to a brief taste of the film's tragic climax, Fredrik Bond's The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman (2013) is a contemporary fairytale that imbues its tripped-out, quasi-romantic thriller with a hefty touch of the supernatural. In the immediate aftermath of the tragic death of his mother, Charlie (Shia Labeouf) has a vivid hallucination in which she tells him to pack his bags and go to Bucharest. Unfortunately, she actually meant to say Budapest (no, really), and if she had corrected herself her son Charlie would almost certainly have avoided the violent and taxing holiday he's about to embark upon.

Rupert Grint in New York where he is appearing on Broadway in It's Only a Play. Ha! I know, it’s pretty amazing working with all these geniuses. After Mojo ended, I didn’t want to do another play for a long time. It was fun but so exhausting. Then this came up and it was such an incredible cast, I had to do it. Landing the cover of Vanity Fair at age 15 might seem like a dream come true, but for Evan Rachel Wood, it was something closer to a nightmare. Back in 2003, the Charlie Countryman actress was chosen as one of nine young starlets to appear in the magazine's Young Hollywood issue, an experience she recalls now, at age 27, with absolutely no fondness whatsoever. On Wednesday, Oct. 15, a fan tweeted a photo from the Vf spread with the caption "Never forget," tagging Wood and several of [...]...

We already heard about Shia Labeouf taking acid for "Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman," offering to have real intercourse for "Nymphomaniac," and separating himself from the rest of the cat and refusing to shower for "Fury." And now that "Fury" is about to hit theaters, Labeouf's co-star Logan Lerman revealed that the actor was willing to mutilate his own face because he didn't believe the fake cuts didn't look real enough. So one day, Labeouf stepped out into the hallway and said: "Hey man, wanna see something fun? Check this out..." He then proceeded to cut his face with a knife. As filming continued, he kept opening the cuts, making sure that they always look fresh. The actor did other, more positive, things as well like learning how to operate a tank. "He really spent every moment on set. He's the guy operating the turret in every shot, even when...

As unlikely as it may seem (or maybe not, when you consider the surprisingly high box office receipts), Gerard Butler and Aaron Eckhart’s White House takeover pic Olympus Has Fallen will be getting an equally ludicrous, action-packed sequel with the upcoming London Has Fallen. And despite Olympus helmer Antoine Fuqua and Charlie Countryman filmmaker Fredrik Bond both backing away from the project over its creative direction, Millenium Films isn’t giving up. Now, we’re hearing that Scandinavian director Babak Najafi is being eyed to take the reins.
Though he’s hardly a household name, Najafi has a solid resume and is best known for directing Joel Kinnaman in another sequel, Easy Money II: Hard to Kill. He has also helmed episodes of the action-packed Cinemax series Banshee and made his debut on the acclaimed drama Sebbe. According to Deadline, Najafi is the favorite to helm London Has Fallen,...

Eleven days ago, London Has Fallen lost their director just six weeks before filming was set to begin. After an 11 day search, it looks like they have found their replacement. Deadline is reporting that Millennium Films is close to signing Babak Najafi to helm London Has...

Just last month, we learned that Charlie Countryman director Fredrik Bond would get behind the camera for London Has Fallen the sequel to Olympus Has Fallen, one of two White House-set thrillers that hit theaters in 2013. However, recently creative differences saw Bond leave the project weeks before production was slated to begin, prompting producers to quickly look for a replacement to step up and stay on schedule. Now it sounds like they've found one as THR reports Scandinavian director Babak Najafi, director of the Snabba Cash sequel Easy Money II: Hard to Kill, is now in talks to tackle the sequel instead. More below! This would mark the English-language feature film debut of Najafi, but he has also directed some episodes of the Cinemax action thriller series "Banshee," so he's not completely inexperienced. The sequel sounds like it has a lot of struggles to overcome, especially since star Gerard Butler...

Just as Antoine Fuqua’s The Equalizer enjoyed a robust opening weekend at the box office (it claimed the #1 spot), the sequel to the director’s Olympus Has Fallen, London Has Fallen, was having some trouble. The latter’s helmsman, Fredrik Bond (Charlie Countryman), quit only a week or so ago, ahead of when filming is scheduled to begin at the end of this forthcoming October. However, it looks as though Bond’s replacement has already been found.
THR is reporting that Babak Najafi is in talks to call the shots on London Has Fallen, after such filmmakers as Gary Fleder (Homefront) and Wayne Blair (The Sapphires) were considered for the job in the wake of Bond’s departure. Exclusive: Looks like Gerard Butler won’t be alone for London Has Fallen, the Millennium Films sequel to the action hit Olympus Has Fallen. Babak Najafi, best known for helming Easy Money II: Hard to Kill (better known as the sequel to Snabba Cash) is now in discussions to helm the action film that is being transplanted to the Blighty.

Back in August it was revealed that "London Has Fallen," which is a sequel to Gerard Butler's "Olympus Has Fallen," hired director Fredrik Bond (Charlie Countryman) with plans of starting production in October. That didn't leave a lot of time for Bond to come aboard and get everything ready before cameras started rolling. And now comes word that the accelerated schedule scared Bond, who decided to drop out of the project. Search for his replacement is already underway. It's expected that a new helmer will be hired within the next 72 hours. There are other issues that the new director will have to keep in mind. Because of Butler's other obligations, "London Has Fallen" will shoot in October for four weeks with Morgan Freeman, Aaron Eckhart, Angela Bassett and Melissa Leo. Production will then shut down and pick up again in February, when Butler will become available. "London Has Fallen...

We don't want to create a panic or anything, don't freak out, but...the "Olympus Has Fallen" sequel "London Has Fallen" has lost its director. Even worse? The movie is supposed to start shooting in six weeks. Oh no! What will Millennium do!? Fredrik Bond ("Charlie Countryman") was originally slated to helm the movie, but ye olde "creative differences" have forced him out. (Guys, this isn't an arthouse film. It's Gerard Butler yelling and shooting for two hours, this time in the U.K.) Anyway, Millenium is working fast to get a new director in place by the time Monday rolls around, and it shouldn't be too hard. A robot could direct this thing, and even with a time crunch to start lensing, we're pretty sure whoever comes aboard can get into the flow of things pretty quickly. "London Has Fallen" will open on October 2, 2015. Meanwhile, "The Girl Next Door...

Just six weeks before filming was to begin, the upcoming action thriller "London Has Fallen" has lost its director.
Fredrik Bond has dropped out of helming Millennium's sequel to last year's surprise hit "Olympus Has Fallen". A company spokesman claim the departure was amicable and due to creative differences. The company hopes to secure a new director by early next week.
Bond ("Charlie Countryman") only came onboard the film in August, and the production's accelerated schedule may have played a big factor in the decision. Bond has come from a commercials and indie feature world, so the jump to not just a big budget action thriller, but one on such a demanding schedule would be daunting to say the least.

London Has Fallen has lost its director. With shooting just six weeks away, Fredrik Bond and Millennium have parted ways over the sequel to 2013’s surprise action hit Olympus Has Fallen. A spokesperson for the company confirmed Bond’s exit, which is due to creative differences. Charlie Countryman helmer Fredrik Bond is said to be in talks to direct the follow-up to Olympus Has Fallen which has been named London Has Fallen. He takes over from the first movie’s director Antoine Fuqua. Bond was recently linked to a number of projects, including Pirates of the Caribbean 5.
Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart and Morgan Freeman are all set to reprise their roles from the first movie, and as you can probably guess from the title, the sequel is set to bring the action to London, where the British Prime Minister has passed away under mysterious circumstances.
As you might expect however, his funeral is a must-attend event for leaders of the Western world, but what starts out as the most protected event on earth, turns into a deadly plot to kill the world’s most powerful leaders and unleash what is described as a terrifying vision of the future.

The 2013 blockbuster, Olympus Has Fallen, was not without its charms. Directed by Antoine Fuqua, it had a dark grittiness to it, setting it slightly apart from the standard, cookie cutter action films that essentially take the premise of Die Hard and change the setting and circumstance. Inevitably, it was a box office success, too, which meant a follow-up was immediately discussed. The sequel was already named as London Has Fallen, and now it has a director – in the surprising form of Fredrik Bond.
Bond is an unexpected choice to take this franchise forward, as he is relatively inexperienced behind the camera. He has one feature-length credit to his name – Charlie Countryman – which was not exactly an action-packed movie. I was pleasantly surprised by 2013's Olympus Has Fallen. I guess going in with low expectations pays off sometimes. While it didn't break any box office records, the film did make a tidy little profit and producers decided to move ahead with a sequel.
The new film is titled London has Falllen and sees the return of Olympus' three main characters.
This time around Secret service agent Mike Banning (Gerard Butler) finds himself in London once again protecting President Asher (Aaron Eckhart) and the Speaker of the House (Morgan Freeman) while they attend the funeral of the British Prime Minister. At some point the shit hits the fan and it's time for Banning to go into John McClane mode.
The Hollywood Reporter announced that Frederik Bond (Charlie Countryman) has signed on to direct the sequel.
London Has Fallen is set to hit theatres on October 2, 2015.

Antoine Fuqua won't be back to direct London Has Fallen. But his replacement appears to have been found...
Filming can't be too far away on the sequel to last year's surprise action hit, Olympus Has Fallen. We already know that the follow-up is going to be called London Has Fallen, with Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart and Morgan Freeman all down to reprise their roles from the first film.
However, director Antoine Fuqua, currently putting the finishing touches to The Equalizer, won't now be back. In his place? That'd be Fredrik Bond, currently best known for the Shia Labeouf movie Charlie Countryman. Bond is said to be in negotiations to direct the movie, with filming set to begin in October.
London Has Fallen is expected to be released in late 2015.

Anthony Hopkins and Evan Rachel Wood are saddling up for "Westworld." The Oscar-winning "Silence of the Lambs" actor has signed on to star in HBO's TV adaptation of the 1973 sci-fi film, effectively taking on his first (prospective) series regular role, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Joining him is "Charlie Countryman" star Evan Rachel Wood, who previously collaborated with the network on both "True Blood" and the 2011 miniseries "Mildred Pierce." Described as a "dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the future of sin," the J.J. Abrams-produced series was "inspired by" the original film, which centered on a futuristic theme park that gave wealthy adults the opportunity to live out their Wild West fantasies (or any fantasies, really) with the help of artificially-intelligent robots. Hopkins will star in the pilot as Dr. Robert Ford, the "brilliant, taciturn and complicated creative director, chief programmer and chairman of the board...
