Inspired by the TV animation series Speed Buggy (1975)
The series was featured in all 32 episodes of The Krofft Supershow (1976), but only six new episodes were produced for the second season. The final ten Supershows were padded with first-season reruns.
Several actors who had prominent speaking roles in the series were not credited.
After leaving the show, John Anthony Bailey (aka Jack Baker) appeared in a few episodes of various TV programs. Unable to find substantial acting opportunities, he ended up becoming an adult film actor in the early 80s.
David Levy quit acting after leaving the show and became a renowned psychologist.
