Because of her commitment to the Black Panther Party, the U.S. actress Jean Seberg (1938-1979) was caught in the crosshairs of the FBI at the end of the 1960s. She is not only monitored by the security agency, but ultimately defamed and terrorized. The film biography tells of the last years in the life of the film star from two perspectives, focusing alongside Seberg on an FBI agent who increasingly finds his task unbearable.
