I have seen many stupid things in Hollywood movies too like riding bikes and cars on a rope. Then why don't people underestimate those movies? why only Bollywood? funny thing is its all the Indians that underestimate our movies. No Wonder India Is Still Like This!!! No Unity. All of the Fast and Furious movies define all of the gravity laws and physics. Why doesn't people have any problem with that? Is it because they think white people make the best movies. F**k no. White people make the best character movies like Forrest Gump, Cast Away, The Godfather. BUT WHEN IT COMES TO ACTION MOVIES, BOLLYWOOD AND Hollywood ARE THE SAME STILL. Its just that Hollywood has better technologies to make a good looking action film. Transformers is as stupid movies can get to and they call it realistic. SO DON'T TELL ME Hollywood ACTION IS ANY BETTER!!!!

This movie is simply great at its time. Some people would say that this is childish kinda movie or copy of some Hollywood movie so for them please stop talking craps. Who are you to judge someone ? These kinda people only talk bull shits and can't appreciate a movie of their own origin. If you don't like Bollywood movie simply don't watch them but don't give idiotic reviews to divert people's mind.
Now coming back to the movie. It's a must watch as I said and one of the terms if you really like acting to be true because Aamir acting is superb in both either playing of Samir or his doppelgänger and he has given you a very good movie which will never be remembered for long. And he always give you a WOW moment in his movie when you will leave everything and be shocked with a OMG and smile on your face. He has done a great acting and there are some scenes which is more than enough to digest like of ABs auto rickshaw scene and a time when Aamir ride the bike on a rope but apart from that the movie is full of woohoo and wow and fun and entertainment and action. And is definitely a masala entertainer and seriously Aamir will never let their fans down by choosing any stupid movie for acting. He is true genius in his work and always will be . Love you Aamir and your work for this Industry.
I was about to hive 8 for the movie but I would give one extra mark for Aamir. 9/10 definitely nothing less than this would be injustice.

First of all, I would like to mention the fact that there are so many below average reviews given by a lot of Indians for this movie. There is a simple explanation for that - they want masala; that is your Rowdy Rathore and Chennai Express. They need people jumping around like idiots in order to be content. Well, they might argue that Dhoom 3's action sequences were way too over the top. Okay, so Vin Diesel's jumping off the bridge to save his love interest in Fast and Furious 6 was applause- worthy, I believe. They say the bike turning into a boat was ridiculous; they didn't bother to think that the money robbed from the bank was used in developing such gadgets and also, running a circus. They'll ask "how the heck did the thief manage to develop it?"; you just need to pay attention while watching the film. That's it. Watch the movie with interest and you'll love it. Barring ONLY two loopholes, everything in this movie was perfect. But, people react as if the whole movie didn't make sense at all. A whole lot of effort was made into making this film; the entire movie is slick and a feast, and you won't even realize how fast the time flies away. It's easy to degrade it as you will find a lot of anti-Aamir fans who are ready to run in order to give it negative reviews. Watch it for the acting, cinematography, direction, action sequences .. HECK, watch it just for the sake of enjoying a film.

This disgusting movie should be put in to the list of most awful film of the decade. I don't know are indians so dumb that they gave this movie a 200 cr hit? Such a disgusting logic less movie. We can forgive the logic part but story? where is the story? No robbery or stealing is shown. only some boring forcefully stretched lame chase scenes are shown. The bikes magically transform into some mind boggling contraption that even the scientists of 21st century could not decipher.
This movie is a torture to the human brain if you have tolerated that torture you are eligible for a full refund. Total boredom.People should not see movies like these in theaters.
In short please keep away from this stupid film.

An out and out entertainer. Vijay Krishna Acharya makes no mistakes this time and boasts this highly awaited franchise with an engaging script that makes the audience guessing till the very end. Death defying stunts especially with those bikes. Catchy dialogues. Spectacular sets that makes Dhoom: 3 a pulse rising chilling cop thief adventure that has a highly satisfying and spectacularly dazzling individual part of Aamir Khan that stays with you for long and asks repeat viewing. Vijay Krishna Acharya sticks to the basics shows his outmost loyalty to the genre dosen,t go for any layers and while he makes us jump out of our seats with those action shocks draws out those soft funny moments with finesse and even easily manages a touch of romance into the yarn with commendable ease. Technicalities are first rate. Sudeep Chatterjee cinematography is a treat to the eye. Editing by Ritesh Soni is crisp. Sumit Basu's production designing, Adri Siriwatt art direction is spectacular. Manoshi Nath, Rushi Sharma and Anaita Shroff costume designing is chic. Pritam Chakraborty music adds memento to the adrenaline rush. Title track, 'malang' and 'kamli' are a take home. Aamir Khan: you know how serious he is about his choices. And you know how really he works hard on his characters he plays. In Dhoom: 3 Aamir is in great shape and gives a brilliantly mature performance. His finesse to enter into the skin of the character is well known but here he as an actor/performer does to the franchise what a superstar should do- he demands a repeat viewing and that is the biggest USP of this installment. His fans and audience in general will go gaga. Katrina Kaif: boy she was never so delicious. The lass who has grown up tremendously as an actress has worked a lot for this and it shows. In 'Kamli' Katrina is bewitchingly sexy. Truly it's impossible to shift your eyes from her. Fabulous. Abhishek Bachchan: is in complete element and seems to be enjoying the fun. Highly entertaining. Uday Chopra: is very funny and successfully makes yo

Amir Khan is a name associated with interesting cinema, carefully chosen plots and perfectionist execution. Unfortunately all of those seem to be completely untrue in his new movie, Dhoom 3. The third film in the Dhoom franchise, is, a mindless movie trying to be intelligent, an unfunny movie trying to be funny and a thriller as thrilling as coca cola commercials. In simple terms, the movie fails miserably. This is some of the laziest script writing I've had the displeasure to experience in years. Without further ado, i present the plot and somethings that are wrong with movie: A failed Indian magician in Chicago, takes a loan from a bank to keep his business afloat and defaults on the banks payment, In his last attempt to convince the bankers for an extension, he invites them to a screening of a special trick, for the first time. The ruthless, heartless bankers, Agree to see his act, where Mr.Anderson is introduced(The banks CEO i think, its never really made clear). In spite of his two colleagues being impressed by the circus, Mr.Anderson isn't impressed (he probably saw the prestige, or was too worried about the risks of extending his loan), and so, he demands his money be returned. Now, well, Jackie Shroff kills himself because of the bankers stance, in front of Sahil(Amir Khan)(Played by a child artist for this scene). Now this gives Sahil enough reason to rob all of Western Bank or whatever Bank that Mr.Anderson owned or managed or was a part of. So with a solid premise like this, the story begins, with Sahil master-planning and stealing the banks, except we never get to see how he steals the banks. The exciting parts of a heist movie are the details, this movie lazily skimps away from all of that to cut to the escape chase. Now, this escape was what this movie is supposed to be all about, but you lose faith once his bike transforms into a boat. Okay I'm cutting the plot line short as its easier to read it up in Wikipedia. With semi decent acting, horrible music, depressing comedy(Uday Chopra), this movie is aimed exclusively at the rural audience who have been numbed down enjoy ridiculous cinema. Please avoid this movie at all costs, let it be know that the audience expect some intelligence, or lets at least, say, some thought to whats being filmed.

Considering the trends with which bollywood movies are becoming hit though they lack a good story or script i was hoping for a disappointment and i went in with low expectations. Well, definitely an all round entertainer Dhoom 3 made me glad and hopeful for the franchise. And yes definitely the best in the series.
Though the songs were disappointing except the first song (not the tap dance), otherwise i was rather engaged well into the stories and surprised with the twist in betweens.
Here is my rating for the movie: Acting - Okay, Songs - Could have been better, Direction - Good, Story - Great, Choreography - Ohhhh What A Katrina!!!!!
I will definitely watch again and soon.

Well we all waited too long for DHOOM 3 and finally it was delivered after 6 years with a BANG!!! Just by watching Trailers you can easily make out DHOOM3 is highly inspired by Hollywood, however you also get to see the regular Bollywood Masala with songs+emotional connect which wasn't required in this though.
DHOOM 3 is nicely written "BOLLYWOOD ACTION" kind of movie, with breathtaking Stunts & element of surprise which was copied from Hugh Jackman's "THE PRESTIGE".
Movie is very long with 2 hours 50 minutes of playtime & could have been edited well & if they have excluded "Tu Hi Junoon" song which i believe was totally wastage of time & should have also excluded first action scene with Abhishek & Uday which make no sense i would have given additional 1 star to the movie.
Aamir khan has done brilliant work in the movie.
And stand out performance should be given to Katrina Kaif for Kamli Song.
All those people who watch lots of Hollywood Movie will be completely disappointed (Including me) because of the non-sense action scenes in which police is applauding stunts of the thief.
ALL in ALL this is the movie for Indian Cinema & is focused towards Indians & MY rating goes as 7 out of 10 for the 3rd installment.
