Talia shoots five times and hits all five but there were only supposed to be three on the log. Then Jeremy shoots again the "three remaining cans" and hits all three. Total of eleven(visual)/twelve (audible) cans shot.
When a building catches fire, the people inside do not spontaneously combust as was depicted. For that to happen, the would have to have had some type of accelerant on their clothing.
