The films description should read something along the lines of "obnoxious 'too cool for school' American takes a trip to Cambodia, is generally rude to the locals etc etc" As someone who's spent time in Cambodia I found the scenes unrealisitic e.g. the bus to Kampot or Kep, wherever he was going, but sadly the behaviour to be quite typical of Westerners (often loud Americans) in Cambodia. Far too many people taking advantage of the Cambodian hospitality and tolerance, and just outright rude, like the scene where he throws a tantrum because nobody can speak English. I mean come on. Many better films about Cambodia have been made
