Awful accent

The cast are, as always, wonderful, but the "Texas" accent of one of the characters is so bad that I almost can't stand to listen to it. It's a combination of old Virginia, old Atlanta, and London-what it is not, is remotely Texan. I'm not as drawn in by the eco-terrorism plot as I am with previous series of Shetland. It's a bit convoluted, and as the series draws to a close I'm wondering whether all of the plot holes and dangling threads will be resolved or if we'll be left hanging. The islands themselves remain my favorite character-absolutely gorgeous. I'm hoping that Tosh will be given a chance to grow and sine in series 8.
