Jack the Ripper: Prime Suspect (2011)
** 1/2 (out of 4)
Jack the Ripper, perhaps the greatest unsolved mystery out there, is once again the subject of a documentary but this one here lays all its chips onto the table of Frederick Bailey Deeming and try to use current DNA technology to link him to the murders.
You know, if you've seen enough of these documentaries like I have then you know that it seems all of them try to come up with a new suspect. They want to pull the rug out from under you in hopes of being the one to break the case but I'm sure most would agree that it's going to remain a mystery unless time travel is ever created and we can actually go back and catch the killer during the crimes. With that being said, if you are a fan of the case then you'll likely want to watch this one as well. The interviews are good and there are some crime scene photos that I haven't seen before.
