Chris Rock is not expected to return in future Saw movies. The tenth installment of the Saw franchise, titled Saw X, is a direct sequel to
Saw (2004) and prequel to
Saw II (2005), and does not feature Rock's character, Detective Zeke Banks. Rock has not confirmed any involvement in future Saw projects, and the director of
Spiral (2021),
Darren Lynn Bousman, has stated that he is not interested in making another Saw movie. Therefore, it seems unlikely that Rock will reprise his role in the near future.
