There are a lot of good parts about this series. The strongest one being the acting, especially from the female lead, Kim Go-Eun. Her delivery is incredibly good. I also really liked the suspense and action in this series.
Most of the characters are really well thought out and developed. The story is told from the perspective of all the different characters and their stories. All of the stories are intertwined and end up being connected to one another at some point. This part of the story is executed very well.
Even though most of the characters have great development, I feel like some were still definitely used as "filler characters". I also feel like the plot in general has some inconsistencies and plot holes. Some aspects of the story were confusing to understand as well. I think the ending does kind of pull it all together though.

I don't understand the negative reviews. Up until episode 8, the plot is good and always keeps you on edge. The direction is brilliant. The music is too good. The camera angle and shots of some scenes is just stunning and really speak about the attention to details. Plot starts to heat up near episode 7 and you begin to understand each sister's actions, even the youngest's.
This is going to be one of the few Korean Series that I will rate ten out of ten (at least for now, hopefully it stays that way) and I have given a 10 only to like 2-3 Kdramas.
So, with that said, not choosing to watch this amazing series will be your own loss.

This show is amazingly good when it comes to plot-line, suspense, actors, cinematography - pretty much everything you would want in a good show! I know the new episodes air only on Saturdays and Sundays but it's worth waiting for to watch what happens next. Each character is inter-connected in a mystery, and the story line is very unique. I specifically like Kim Go-eun's role (Oh In-ju in the show) and acting. She plays her role really well!
The suspense and mystery keeps you glued to the show. You get hooked starting the first episode and crave to find out what happens next. Hats off to the writers and everyone who created this masterpiece!

A stellar edge-of-the-seat thriller with twists that make you gasp and sit up! The show has a dark theme yet enables viewers to admire the writing, cinematography, direction and music. Every episode was eventful, making the viewer increasingly curious about the premise. Kim Go-eun is a familiar face, at least for me, who is the thread that holds this story together, whilst Nam Ji-hyun plays her sister. The latter ends up being the dark horse that manages to bring the story together and is a significant part of revealing the storyline to the viewers. A noteworthy mention for Uhm Ji-won, who portrays her character with utmost sincerity and dedication, leaving you in awe of her performance. The unique storyline with a noir-esque vibe makes you reminisce about the old-school writing style. Watch it to be amazed at how the story unfolds. Please do not read any spoilers. I promise you it will be worth it!!

The story of three poor sisters, one is a reporter, one works in accounts and one is a student artist. All three become embroiled with a chaebol family after seventy billion won goes missing from a slush fund. The story moves at a swift pace and murder and mayhem follow when a sinister organisation seems to be involved. The first notable thing about the series is the outstanding performances by the entire cast which makes some of the insane plot believable. The series is not afraid to face the dark side of individual characters and even though a person can be inherently good they can also make mistakes. A well written series with a fast twisty pace which is definitely worth a watch.

I read many reviews which talks about the Vietnamese history and how it has distorted the truth. Honestly I am not aware of the historical information that occurred to which is being referred to in the drama. But I really hope that they will try to redeem any distortions made to the history as it will not be right to give incorrect information.
That being said, talking about the story line of this story, I have never watched anything like this before. It continues to keep us in our toes and keeps us guessing about things cause it's so unpredictable. And I love how these actors portray the characters so we'll to the point we feel with them. It's definitely one of the best dramas of this year. Do I hope people will still continue to watch it.

This show does not make any sense. It felt like I was losing IQ with every minute I watched. There is a weird double plot that basically is the same and the reactions of characters in certain situations are just odd and would never happen like this in real life. With Korean movies and TV shows I sometimes get the feeling that the producers/directors have a checklist that there must be hate, love, anger, sadness and happiness covered for every character in every episode and this is done so blatantly that it makes me want to stop watching. The plot of this show is ridiculous and the drama feels artificial and forced.
6/10 would not recommend.

I LOVE how real the poor family is depicted. The whole story is about showing the power dynamic between two different social class : the poor and the rich. Nowadays in Korea, is a poor family with a poor background capable of using the social ladder ? Those this social ladder really exist ? If so, how aware are the rich of this dimension of their life ? What are the chance for a poor girl to become rich in only one generation ? Is talent enough ? Does genetic has a part in all of this ? What about intelligence ? That's. All the question that are coming to my mind while watching this. I really love it, it seems like an italian or french old tragedy. Like a Victor Hugo book !
Also is really well produced, with good actors, good characters etc ...

I really liked the first episode I thought it would portray hardships, fundamentals of poverty, broken family dynamics etc. The concept of doing better than what your circumstances allow. But this turned quickly into a murder mystery. I hate in general this genre, it doesn't feel suspenseful to me and often there are unrealistic aspects that make it unrelatable and not rewarding to watch. I tried to look past that and the made-up drug flower that is constantly in the main story. After the first episodes, I at least wanted to give it a fair shot. I even thought that Kim Go-eun who I was underwhelmed with in the past was decent. But I just watched the sixth episode and just had it. The secret society, military power dynamics is so fake. The best unrealistic stories are when they feel authentic to their universe. But this show played out in "real life" and everything felt so fabricated, I felt done. But I forced myself to continue and I will grant this that it was watchable. The last episodes was decent and the complex story made me almost like it. I didn't mind how it all wrapped up, but damn what a drag this was, it didn't do it for me.
Little women, loosely based on Louisa May Alcott's novel (only the characters though) is a thriller story of 3 sisters who deals with a society of rich people and their survival to sustain.
Little Women features an extremely well-written plot and air-tight characters. Kim Go-eun does an exceptional job with her acting as In-joo, but it is Uhm Ji-won as Won Sang-ah who takes the cake with her acting. From playing the victim card to acting like a total lunatic, fans really loved to hate Sang-ah. Despite not being a romance drama, fans started growing attached to In-joo and In-kyung's respective love interests, Do-il and Jong-ho.
Even though with 12 episodes (unlike generic 16 eps for a K Drama), Little Women is as intense as it can get with amazing and intense performances. The plot has twisted so often by this point that this cathartic image at the end of episode 11 brings us full circle, setting up the satisfying conclusion in the show's concluding episode.
There was a compelling message in Little Women, but what mattered most are the sensations it evoked. It gave us what we wanted to see, at the end. Little Women is an addition of amazing female led dramas (Why Her, Juvenile Justice, Extraordinary Attorney Woo) in 2022.
My Rating : 8.5/10.

Korean Drama " Little Women " is the story of three sisters, completely different from each other, being drawn into the world of the rich and priviliged.
The drama is more aesthetics and deep dialogues at times, sucrificing its plot for it, but the overall result is intense. The story is complicated, slowly being built up, revealing each characters' real self and motives. The mystery with the rooms and the suicide case were dark and unpredictable and kept things interesting. The romance, on the other hand, was moody and more of an outline in the end.
The performances, in addition, were all great by everyone in the cast.
So, overall, seven out of ten.

Little women comes with a fresh idea that reflects a modern life of society nowadays and comes up with challenging story such as Vietnam War, family intrigue, Jeongran Community. Even there's no Poisoned Blue Flower exist in real life but the idea is very magical and very blowing mind. From episode 01 - 12, it really tense the nerve. All character should be given extra credit. Oh In Joo, Oh In Kyung, Oh In Hye, Oh My God they are totally chewed it. Fresh plant over here and over there, vibrant view of Singapore and night view of Korea, and all goof element that added in it, i'm pretty sure nobody would skip for this K-Drama. Loved it all. 10/10 and couldn't agree more.

The first time I've heard about korean vietnam war vets was from my uncle who was a US vietnam war vet long time ago. Before or after I've never heard that there were soldiers from another country during the vietnam war other than US soldiers. My uncle told me about korean soldiers during the war. They were really fierce and vietcongs were afraid of them literally. It was the 80s and there's was no other source that I could experience such a tale except from my uncle. The interesting thing is that recently, I accidentally ran into some kind of documentary about a korean army during vietnam war on youtube, and surprisingly the information in the video was very similar to what my uncle said to me except they were specialized force unlike regular GI. My uncle passed away in the early 90s because he suffered from injuries he got from the vietnam war along with PTSD. Also he couldn't work because he only had one of each arm and leg. He put himself into a positive side as much as he could, but in the end the "dark side" got him, and he couldn't maintain his life. That was the first time I realized that it's not easy being a positive person especially when someone has a lot more disadvantages than other people. My uncle said all the things described in those vietnam war movies are true, but less gory and gruesome. He said the vietcongs were ten times more scary than those in the movies which gave me enormous respect and sadness toward vietnam war veterans like my uncle. Funny thing is that nobody asked Hollywood producers to apologize for talking bad about viet congs in the vietnam war movies. Remember Deer Hunter? How about Platoon? Anyway, I really thank Little Women for reminding my uncle who was my hero when I was little. May him rest in peace.
I don't know why some people give bad review about the movie. It's so annoying scrolling down the review page seeing someone people talking bad about the producer, director, etc. If you don't like the movie go out there and make your own movie, stop criticising. I don't really see anything wrong with movie. Everything was straight forward. The first and second episodes really made to love the movie at the first place. Thumbs up to whole crew and the director as well.
The movie is wonderful, well directed. The whole team really did a great job. One more episode to go and I hope to have learnt a lot from the movie.

The use of color and symbols in this show was absolutely stunning. The bright blue flowers, the red shoes, the red blood, the beige clothing.. it is all so incredibly memorable for me.
The entire show felt like a piece of art.
The plot was actually a little less memorable than the visuals, but it was very suspenseful and exciting. Throughout the entire show you never really know who to trust.
The characters were great, the acting was phenomenal.
Despite all the great things about the show, it does get 8/10 becuase the plot seemed a bit rushed at the end and not all of the plot lines got tied together.
But it's worth the watch.

Finally I watched after reading so many positive reviews. But, it turned out to be a boring and with lots of plot holes drama. I never felt so bored while watching any Korean drama, this is the first time, I felt like dropping it as I couldn't take more. Story seems interesting at first but it became worse over time. I'm just irritated to watch the dramas and foolishness of three sisters specially the elder one. She really pissed me off and I'm just tired of watching her playing same role again and again (miserable, poor, sad) . I thought, maybe at the end she would do something, something like bold! But, no,there wasn't. And the flower Orchid and bla bla, organisation and all flew over my head. I just somehow finished the drama that's it.
The film is being accused of distorting history from the Vietnamese side. But according to research on battles, the ratio 1:20 even 1:100 mentioned is completely accurate.
"Operation Ma Doo I , an operation by the 28th Regiment in Phú Yên Province from 21 January to 7 February 1967 results in ROK claims of 160 People's Army of Vietnam (PAVN) killed and 167 weapons captured Operation Baek Ma I, a search and destroy operation in Khánh Hòa Province by the 29th and 30th Regiments from 29 to 31 January 1967 results in ROK claims of 390 PAVN killed and 302 weapons captured for no friendly losses Operation Oh Jak Kyo, to link up the Division's tactical area of responsibility with the Capital Division in Phú Yên Province from 8 March to 18 April 1967 results in ROK claims of 831 Vietcong (VC) killed and 659 weapons captured for the loss of 23 ROK Operation Hong Kil Dong, with the Capital Division in Tuy Hòa Province from 9 July to 21 August 1967, ROK claiming 638 PAVN killed for the loss of 26 ROK. 98 crew-served and 359 individual weapons were captured"

Loved the characters, acting, the plot. EVERYTHING!!
I will definitely watch it again from the very start.
The story is somewhat different and unusual with the depth of the plot and the confusing episodes, really amused me.
As the story begins to unfold, it gets really exciting and has the viewer wanting for more episodes.
Everything from the intro music to the episode end was perfect, and I liked the acting of all the characters. But my favourite is Oh In-Joo, especially the scene where she is being abducted by Won Sang-A and she points gun at her after knowing the suitcase is full of bricks and the jail scene where she gets riled up and cries after being threatened by Won Sang-A is the most beautiful acting.
