I cannot beleive Futurama went there with Season 12's "Attack of the Clothes." Like, seriously, they built this whole episode around the idea that fast fashion is some kind of global disaster, with clothes taking over the world and threathening humanity. Come on! Fast fashion? Not even a real problem! If people want afforable clothes, let them have them. It's called capitolism, and it's what keeps things running smoothly, folks. 🙄
And don't even get me started on the side rant about global warming. Are we still pushing this narative in 2024?? They had this whole scene where the clothes supposedly caused "environmetal damage" and blah blah blah... You expect me to believe that my T-shirt is responsible for melting ice caps or something? Gimme a break! It's fake news, plain and simple.
The whole episode is a total lie from start to finish. It's just another excuse to push the same tierd agenda. What happend to the good ol' days when Futurama was just about robots and space adventrues instead of shoving these so-called "issues" down our throats?
The only redeeming moment was Morbo finding the perfect pants-like, that was actualy funny. For that reason only i give it 8/10. But the rest of it? Pure propoganda. Futurama used to be better than this. Now it's just peddling nonsence like fast fashion destroying the world and global warming being a threat. 😒
If I wanted a lesson in fake envirmental crises, I'd watch a documantary, not Futurama!
