Hideo Kojima, the busiest man in gaming, is working on a new project, titled Physint, and it seems very Metal Gear Solid-like. More here.
Fans of Hideo Kojima were truly feasting during last night’s State Of Play event. Not only were we treated to a pretty freaky Death Stranding 2 gameplay trailer, but Playstation also announced a brand new IP in collaboration with Kojima.
The project goes by the name of Physint, and while we know very little at this point, we know enough to get proper excited.
It seems that the project will be a spiritual successor for Kojima’s Metal Gear Solid franchise. Those rights are still held by Konami, but Physint is being described as “next-generation action espionage game”.
Here’s a snippet of what Kojima said during the event about Physint:

Norman Reedus returns as Sam in the gameplay trailer for Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding 2: On The Beach.
During last night’s State Of Play, one of the biggest surprises was the gameplay trailer for Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding 2. And blimey, what a trailer that is.
Firstly, the game is now called Death Stranding 2: On The Beach. Secondly, it looks freaky as heck.
Take a look at 9-minute gameplay trailer for Death Stranding 2:
Is that a baby… in a body cavity? Well, that’s me sold on the game.
Death Stranding 2 was initially announced at the 2022 Game Awards, but it’s been a long road to get here. Kojima reportedly rewrote the entire game at one point after the pandemic.
The trailer finds Sam working for a mysterious civilian outfit called the Drawbridge and being shown around by Léa Seydoux’s Fragile. As Sam heads out into the world,...

With news that Supermassive’s Until Dawn is getting a film adaptation, the rumour mill is spinning up news that the title could be coming to PlayStation 5 and PC. Not only that, but Death Stranding 2 will be getting an official title.
Per French website Dealabs, an announcement regarding Until Dawn coming to the PS5 and PC is coming “within 15 days”. There’s unfortunately not much more information on this version of Until Dawn, though one could suspect that if the game is making the leap, it would feature graphical enhancements to take advantage of the PS5 hardware. None of this has been confirmed as of yet by Sony or Supermassive.
Meanwhile, Dealabs also mentions that Death Stranding 2, which was announced back at The Game Awards 2022, has an official title. Much like Until Dawn, an announcement about the game is expected within the next 15 days, possibly during a State of Play event.

Recently, developer Insomniac Games was targeted by a hacking group that stole over 1 TB of internal data from the company and reportedly demanded around $2 million dollars for that information’s return. When that demand was not met, the group released the stolen data (which consisted of over 1.3 million files) online.
This is one of the largest leaks in the history of the video game industry in terms of both the quantity of leaked data and what, exactly, was included in those files. The leaked information includes everything from Insomniac’s upcoming intended release schedule for the next several years to the complete story breakdown for their upcoming Wolverine project. Crucially, the leak also includes the personal information of numerous Insomniac employees. As this leak extends far beyond things like game development footage and story spoilers, we will not be sharing the full contents of the leak here.

The blockbuster post-apocalyptic video game Death Stranding is being adapted into a live-action film by A24, with the help of its creator Hideo Kojima.
According to the official synopsis, the movie will “delve into the mysteries surrounding the apocalyptic event called the ‘Death Stranding,’ which blurred the lines between life and death, and brought forth nightmarish creatures into a world on the brink of collapse.”
In a statement, the esteemed video game designer explained why he chose to work with the production company. “A24 was born into this world about 10 years ago, their presence is singular within the industry, they are like no other,” he said. “The films they are delivering to the world are high in quality and very innovative. I have been attracted to their creations and they have even inspired my own work. Their innovative approach to storytelling aligns with what Kojima Productions has been doing for the last 8 years.

Acclaimed indie studio A24 and beloved game developer/weirdo Hideo Kojima are teaming up to bring a live-action adaptation of the 2019 video game "Death Stranding" to the big screen. The game starred Norman Reedus (via motion capture) as a courier who wanders the perilous landscapes of the post-apocalyptic United States, avoiding monsters with the help of a psychic bond that he shares with a premature baby called Lou, who is carried around in a portable synthetic womb.
The official synopsis from A24 and Kojima Productions (via Variety) doesn't mention the psychic jar baby, but instead simply says that:

As a slightly ill-fitting adolescent who’d pass time in class writing down a complete chronology of the Metal Gear narrative, Hideo Kojima’s ascendance to full-blown mainstream continually suggests an alternate, better pop culture. Not least of all when 2019’s Death Stranding was an oddly shaped masterpiece––not exactly non-narrative, but the 33 hours I took to beat it offered perhaps equivalent to one feature’s story. While awaiting more word on the second game, this strange universe has begun growing.

A teaser trailer, unveiled at last night’s The Game Awards, shows actors Sophia Lillis, Hunter Schaffer and the legendary reciting a distinctly unsettling phrase straight down the virtual lens.
