Chennai, April 15: Director Koratala Siva, who is teaming up with superstar Mahesh Babu in a yet-untitled Telugu actioner, says the project will go on floors in July. The pre-production work is currently underway.
"The regular shooting will start from July onwards. By then, Mahesh is expected to complete shooting for 'Aagadu'," Koratala told Ians.
Mahesh is currently shooting for Sreenu Vaitla-directed "Aagadu".
"It's an out-and-out commercial project that's sure going to appeal to Mahesh's fans. Devi Sri Prasad has been roped in to compose the music, while the rest of the film's cast is yet to be finalized,".

Chennai, April 3: Superstar Mahesh Babu might croon a song in upcoming Telugu actioner "Aagadu", which has music by S.S Thaman. The makers feel Mahesh's voice will give the film much-needed hype.
Srinu Vaitla-directed "Aagadu" is currently on the floors and is produced by 14 Reels Entertainment.
"Thaman and Srinu Vaitla have requested Mahesh to sing a song. Mahesh is yet to confirm his participation," a film's spokesperson told Ians.
In the past, Mahesh had crooned in Thaman's music in "Businessman".
"The song that Mahesh had crooned in 'Businessman' was a chartbuster. It's because of that Thaman insisted.

Chennai, March 25: If all goes well, the first look of Mahesh Babu-starrer Telugu actioner "Aagadu" will be unveiled May 31, on the birthday of Mahesh Babu's father, superstar G. Krishna, says its director Sreenu Vaitla.
"We are planning to release the first look on Mahesh's father's birthday. If everything goes as planned, then we will release it on that day," Vaitla told Ians.
Last year, on the same day, the first teaser of Mahesh's Telugu psychological thriller "1: Nenokkadine" was released.
"Aagadu" will feature Mahesh in the role of a policeman for the third time in his career after "Pokkiri" and "Dookudu".

Chennai, Aug 28: Actress Shruti Haasan has reportedly been approached for the role which was originally offered to Tamannah Bhatia in upcoming Telugu action-drama "Aagadu" featuring Superstar Mahesh Babu, says a source from the industry.
"Shruti's name has come up for the lead role in 'Aagadu'. However, nothing has been confirmed yet as Srinu Vaitla (director) has to take the final call. We should have some clarity in a couple of weeks," a source close to the director told Ians.
