THAT'S Better

After a questionable Part 1, the series comes roaring back with a concise and interesting conclusion. I disagree with those who criticize the pacing. This is SHETLAND. Slow is part of the appeal.

Unlike Part 1, there were no extraneous scenes. And the final reveal of the murderer was solidly built upon reasonable clues. Also Douglas Henshall was far more believable this episode as Jimmy Perez. Possibly because he had to match Nina Sosanya's dead-on natural portrayal of Willow Reeves.

The writers did a good job of spreading the guilt around, making it difficult to guess the identity of the killer.
