Method is a reminder of the visceral power of film. Rarely do I see a movie that shakes me to my core, where the world around me melts away and time stands still. Method is a heart-centered dive into not just an actor's or teachers psyche, but a human's journey. The visuals were absolutely breathtaking, raw, and deeply intentional. Every frame was beautifully constructed, you can't take your eyes away. Iman is a force of an actor and Don Harvey brought a powerhouse of a performance as well. Even the actors without much dialogue brought beautiful performances and emotive expression. This film was such a beautiful balance between nuance and intention. Every emotion was deeply felt and captivating, and the writing was exceptional. Method is a reminder of the power of movies, the connectivity and grief of the human condition, the importance of settling into ourselves even when we want to run. I cannot praise this movie enough and if you are someone who appreciates the arts, and supporting filmmakers with true vision and purpose, you must see this movie. As a fellow actor, this movie made me emotional, inspired, and reflective all at once. That is quite an achievement. You can absolutely tell that everyone put their heart and soul into this. Bravo to everyone involved!
