What has become of this show??

I've always loved Law & Order SVU. Recently I've even re-binged the past seasons. The storylines and the cast were great. You had the forensic team, real investigations, real courts cases.

And lately it feels like I'm watching a soap opera. Everything seems like overacting. Olivia's character was so good back in the days, now she has the same expression every episode. And sometimes it feel like an after school special.

Instead of keeping this show like it was and even make it better, it feels sticky and melodramatic, something like Grey's Anatomy (that also was good at the first seasons).

Such a disappointment.
