On March 6, 2015, NBC canceled the series after five low-rated episodes. On March 12, 2015, NBC confirmed that the series would move online, where the remaining episodes will be shown.

The title of the series as it morphs into Russian in the opening credits does not exactly translate as 'allegiance' but rather can be translated as 'devotion'.
