As an actor, I saw first hand the hard work, passion, and talent that went into this film. It's astonishing how lucky we all were to be surrounded by such a caliber of talent. As in all lower budget films, it's a little rough around the edges, but I believe that makes for a truly authentic film.
The focus of the film is the story, and it's told in a non-traditional way. It's about the journey of the characters, not their personal backstories. It's about the moments they share. Some people may be put off by this and the open-ended questions, but I feel this makes Of Fortune and Gold a truly original piece of art.
Everyone who touched this project has so much to be proud of, and are truly the reason it became the living thing it is. This film will stand the test of time. Give it a shot, you'll have a lot to think about when it's over.
