Arrow Offers Classic and Cutting Edge Cult Cinema June Lineup Highlights New Shorts, Genre Classics & Exciting Collections: "London, UK - Arrow Video is excited to announce the June 2021 lineup of their new subscription-based Arrow platform, available to subscribers in the US, Canada and the United Kingdom.

The June lineup leads with a selection of short films curated by the creative team behind The Stylist, one of Arrow's most popular titles. The collection highlights the work of women in horror, in front of and behind the camera. These eight films include Tristan Risk's Reptile House, her take on The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Alchemia, Ticks and Connor Sandheinrich's deeply unsettling Unsafe Spaces.

The exciting new shorts are joined by the Arrow premiere of a number of classic titles for horror fans: Chopping Mall, Witchboard, Herzog's Nosferatu the Vampyre, Twins of Evil, The Quiet Earth and the Daimajin trilogy.

Randy Rogers Band show their appreciation for a bunch of hell-raising fans in the new “Crazy People” video, which was released on Wednesday. The song appears on the Texas outfit’s latest album Hellbent, which dropped in April.

As a song, “Crazy People” chronicles the transformation of a kid from his buttoned-up conservative Christian upbringing to the beer-soaked stages he’d stand on as an adult. Along the way, he also figures out that even his folks may have had a wild streak at some point and therefore, so may many other folks.

Randy Rogers wasn’t built to take vacations. When he’s not on the road, the Texas Country vet is checking in with one of his many business partners for updates on the venues he owns or the management company he runs. Even now, on what should be a relaxing getaway with his family in Florida, Rogers is all too happy to squeeze in a phone call.

“I have a hard time turning things off. I kind of hate that about myself,” says Rogers, philosophically but with a touch of resignation.

Exclusive: Gregg Hurwitz, author of the best-selling Orphan X series, has inked what’s described as a “significant seven-figure deal” with publisher Minotaur Books for the next three volumes in the series. The next book in the series, Out of the Dark: The Return of Orphan X, hits shelves on Tuesday, Jan. 29.

The series kicked off in 2016 with Orphan X, followed by The Nowhere Man and Hellbent. The Orphan X series follows Evan Smoak, who, after being pulled from his home at the age of 12, is trained in the Orphan Program as a secret government assassin. After he escapes the program he creates a new life for himself, until he is forced to complete one last mission: saving the final Orphan, as the same shadowy government forces that ran the Orphan Program attempt to wipe out any shred of evidence that it ever existed.

Randy Rogers Band is gearing up to release its first new LP in over three years this spring: the Texas country act will drop its eighth album, Hellbent, on April 26th.

Hellbent marks Rogers’ first collaboration with all-star country/Americana producer Dave Cobb, who oversaw the sessions for the 11-track album at RCA Studio A in Nashville. In a very competitive situation, Brad Weston’s Makeready has landed the rights to Gregg Hurwitz’s bestselling Orphan X book series with plans to adapt the thrillers into a TV series along with Justin Lin’s Perfect Storm Entertainment.

Hurwitz, who penned 2017’s The Book of Henry directed by Colin Trevorrow, is set to co-adapt the books, often drawing comparisons to the Jason Bourne and Jack Reacher franchises. He will also executive produce with Scott Nemes, Makeready’s Head of Television. Lin and Danielle Woodrow will executive produce for Perfect Storm.

The five-book series from Minotaur Books kicked off in 2016 with Orphan X, followed by The Nowhere Man and Hellbent, with Out of the Dark: The Return of Orphan X hitting shelves in January 2019.
