There’s a viral photo that appears to show Sabrina Carpenter and Olivia Rodrigo chatting at the 2025 Grammy Awards, but it’s not real.
The moment is said to have happened during Music’s Biggest Night on Sunday (February 2) at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
While Sabrina and Olivia were both at the event, they did not seemingly get photographed together, but a video does appear to show them talking at one point.

Two photos that were snapped inside the venue by CBS were superimposed together to show the singers together. In reality, Sabrina was chatting with Billie Eilish and Olivia was talking to Gracie Abrams.

Is Rihanna pregnant and welcoming baby #3 in 2025?
Rihanna welcomed her second child, a boy named Riot, in 2023.
The new addition joined Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s first son, who sports the similarly unique name of RZA.
With two kids under the age of three, Rihanna and Rocky obviously have a lot on their plate these days.
But it seems that RiRi might already be thinking about expanding her family even further.

How Did Scarlett Johansson Feel About The Reaction To Under The Skin At Venice Film Festival? (Photo Credit – Instagram)
Scarlett Johansson almost lost it after Under the Skin got booed off the screen at the 2013 Venice Film Festival. Yep, you read that right—booed. The sci-fi indie didn’t exactly get a warm welcome, leaving Johansson teetering on the edge of tears. Festival director Alberto Barbera called it a disaster but told her, “Don’t worry, in time the film will be recognized.” Spoiler: he nailed it. Today, it’s a cult favorite.
At the time, Johansson felt “super-exposed.” She told The Guardian in 2014 that the mixed reaction left her stunned. “When the lights came up…there was this sound of people cheering and booing at the same time, but with equal gusto,” she recalled. “I didn’t know how to react. Jonathan [Glazer, the director] was thrilled. He thought...

Teravision Games and IllFonic are bringing Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game to the Epic Games Store for players with the latest patch. Of course, that’s not the only news as part of the 1.7.1 Patch, as the update also introduces another Chiodo-designed cosmetic, along with the expected bug fixes.
Much like on Steam, PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series, the Epic Games Store version of Killer Klowns from Outer Space will include crossplay for those wanting to join friends on other platforms.
The other big news is the addition of Bucky, a skin for the Hunter Klown type. Bucky is described as “the galaxy’s toothiest terror” with his comically-sized front teeth. Sadly, you won’t be able to bite anyone with them.
Other notes include fixes for some uncommon bugs, such as where the player would not be replaced by a Bot if the player left the same match more than once,...

A handful of haunting images connect the 22 short films in From Ground Zero, Palestine’s poignant Academy Award submission: the eerie hum of drones patrolling Gaza’s airspace; bodies trapped beneath piles of rubble dotting once bustling neighborhoods; and clusters of tents housing people forced into itinerancy. Startling in their familiarity, these scenes have become a shorthand for an ongoing nightmare. Anyone following Israel’s unrelenting and escalating bombardment of Gaza over the last 16 months — whether through the eyes of journalists like Bisan Owda (who won an Emmy for her reporting) or civilians asking for support to escape the besieged enclave — will recognize those images.
But they function differently in From Ground Zero, an anthology work produced by the Palestinian filmmaker Rashid Masharawi and distributed by Watermelon Pictures. They do not define life in Gaza. They are an entry point, a means through which these filmmakers process their painful present...

A common misconception among more casual "Family Guy" fans is that creator Seth MacFarlane is personally responsible for every single creative decision. Although he voices many of the characters, his presence in the writers' room is a lot lighter than one would think. He's mentioned in interviews that he hasn't written for "Family Guy" since around 2009, and even before that, he only officially wrote the scripts for three episodes. That's right: only three episodes in the show's entire 400+ episode run were penned by MacFarlane.
Of course, as any writer for a long-running sitcom will tell you, the writing for these shows is very collaborative. There'll often be one writer who receives credit for the episode, but the script will typically go through multiple revisions from the rest of the staff. I know from interviews with staff writers from "Rick and Morty" and "Futurama" that it's often hard for the staff...

Hollywood star Olivia Wilde warns social media and the embrace of fame pose an existential threat to filmmaking as a storytelling art.
“Directors have to decide at a certain point do you want to be a celebrity or an artist. Because of social media, it’s becoming even more combined to something that is quite dangerous for the art form.,” Wilde said while taking part in an informal conversation at the Red Sea Film Festival on Saturday.
“When you conflate filmmaking or acting with large scale acceptance, you immediately cut off every opportunity to do any risky work. So it was important to me to never become overly focused on being accepted or loved,” she added.
To get away from the Hollywood bubble, the actor-turned-director told the Red Sea Film event she remains inspired by film from far-flung countries not dominated by social media and clichés. “I’m so interested...

As one of a handful of actresses in Hollywood who have successfully crossed over into directing, Olivia Wilde claims one of the reasons for this small number was the messaging given to children when they express an interest in cinema.
“I think for many young women, when we love movies as little girls, we’re told, ‘Oh, you should be an actress,” she said, speaking at the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia. “I think when little boys say they love movies, people say ‘You should be a director.'”
On the subject of female directors and the ongoing domination of men behind the camera, Wilde lay the solution with the those holding the purse strings. “Movies directed by women don’t make less money. “Wonder Woman” and “Monster” director Patty Jenkins is lending her cache to the team behind “Tea,” an offbeat comedy about loneliness starring Michael Gandolfini.
In the short, written and directed by emerging filmmaker Blake Rice, Gandolfini plays a lonely and highly allergic Circuit-Shack employee, who is rehearsing asking out the girl of his dreams (Olivia Nikkanen) when he gets stung in the throat by a hornet. As he goes into anaphylactic shock, the pair have to find a way to communicate as the young woman races to save his life.
“With ‘Tea,’ Blake Rice has made a delightful and original short film with tons of charm and great execution. Definitely the emergence of a great new voice in the medium,” Jenkins said of boarding the project.

Great news, FROMily: MGM+ has renewed “From” for a fourth season just as Season 3 is winding to a close! The bad news? “From” Season 4 won’t arrive for over a year.

From has been a hit out of the gate for MGM+. The sci-fi drama is the most viewed series in the history of the premium network, and has a 96 percent Rotten Tomatoes score.
“We are thrilled by the support of our fans and our partners at MGM+ and are so excited to share the next chapter of our story with our FROMily. By the end of season 3, our characters will begin to understand why they are trapped in From Town… but will understanding help them to escape? And if so, how?” said Pinkner.
Perrineau plays Boyd Stevens, the sheriff whose Draconian rules have held the fragile town together, even as he searches for a way to escape this seemingly inescapable nightmare.
“With the culmination of Season Three we have, in many ways, reached the end of the beginning. In Season Four, a new journey begins. The question is whether it will lead our characters home, or deeper into this unrelenting nightmare,” said Griffin. “We are so grateful to our partners at MGM+ to be able to continue this tale and beyond excited to share the news with our amazing FROMily.”
Added Bender: “Congratulations and gratitude to Michael Wright and MGM+ for the incredible support. And to our brilliant family of actors and our gifted team in Nova Scotia. We’re looking forward to telling more of the tale.”
From is an Amazon MGM Studios production. Jeff Pinkner, John Griffin and Jack Bender serve as executive producers alongside Perrineau, Josh Appelbaum, André Nemec and Scott Rosenberg from Midnight Radio, Anthony and Joe Russo and Mike Larocca from Agbo, and Lindsay Dunn. Midnight Radio’s Adrienne Erickson serves as co-executive producer. The series is distributed internationally by Paramount Global Content Distribution.

Although Supernatural season 1 was full of great episodes, there was one episode in particular that made me want to watch the show to the very end. Supernatural had some big changes after season 1, as Sam and Dean Winchester went from battling low-level ghosts every week to fighting Angels and Demons on the daily. Likewise, Supernaturals original monster of the week format unraveled into a more linear story. However, despite the production quality being considerably better, Supernatural season 1 had great episodes that laid the foundations for future plotlines.
From the beginning, Supernaturals horror movie per episode plan is evident, with each episode in season 1 focusing on a new case involving a new monster. The first few episodes of Supernatural set up what to expect from the show, detailing the ways monsters can be killed and the overall relationship between the Winchester brothers and their missing father. With memorable episodes such as Bloody Mary and Skin,...

Netflix’s “It’s What’s Inside” is the body-swapping thriller that sparked a bidding war at Sundance, and it’s finally streaming for all to see. And you’re probably going to want to see it a couple of times, because the ensemble cast is constantly rotating through characters, leaving the audience to keep up with who’s who — and in who’s body — at what point in the film.
We’re going to keep the basic cast and character details here spoiler-free, though we will add some hints to help you keep track, in case you’re wondering where you’ve seen that actor before without getting the whole movie ruined for you. But not to worry, if you’re looking for a breakdown of who’s in who’s body, we’ll include that in a spoiler section below, too.

Mubi has unveiled next month’s streaming lineup, including an exciting lineup of notable new releases: Bertrand Bonello’s Coma (along with Nocturama), Julia Loktev’s The Loneliest Planet (as her newest film premieres at the New York Film Festival), Martin Rejtman’s The Practice alongside his previous features, Humanist Vampire Seeking Consenting Suicidal Person, and more.
As David Katz said in his review from 2022’s Berlinale, “Coma is anything but a navel-gazing work, and more one of imaginative empathy. It is not Being Bertrand Bonello, but addressed to and concerning a person of a far-removed generation and gender: his teenage daughter Anna. Some amusing early interactions with pop culture, especially music, come from this cross-generational conversation: ‘turn that garbage off’ et al. But Bonello looks at the Zoomer state of mind, as he does for much else of importance, and has cutting, perceptive and troubling things to say.”

As spooky season approaches consider what streamer Mubi has to offer this October, starting with their collection The New Coven: A Female Horror Renaissance. The collection includes breakout hits Revenge from Coralie Fargeat and Jennifer Reeder's Knives And Skin, perennial favorites of Anarchists. Three more films should fall under the spooky season banner, romantic thriller The Blue Room (caution on the scroll down to the provided bare bum image), thriller The Lonliest Planet and mystery thriller Coma. A new wave of female directors is reshaping the horror genre, continuing a tradition that began with Alice Guy-Blaché in the early 1900s. Directors like Jennifer Kent, Coralie Fargeat, and Susanne Deeken are leading a renaissance, reclaiming female agency and addressing themes such as gender roles, sexuality,...

Oscar-winning Spanish auteur Pedro Almodovar has made a name for himself with a series of brightly colored, delightfully kinky and unabashedly melodramatic titles, mixing comedy, drama, sex and violence to great success. He shows no signs of slowing down, with his latest outing in 2019 being the Oscar-nominated “Pain and Glory.” Let’s take a look back at all 22 of his films, ranked worst to best.
Born in 1949 in Spain, Almodovar came to prominence during La Movida Madrilena, a cultural renaissance that blossomed at the end of Francoist Spain. Staring with his filmmaking debut “Pepi, Luci, Bom and Other Girls Like Mom” (1980), the openly gay director showed an affinity for oddballs and outsiders, populating his films with transvestites, transexuals and homosexuals, all of whom had previously been relegated to the closet. He also showed a talent for working with women, and throughout his 40 year career has placed actresses such as Penelope Cruz,...

The film features an all-star international cast, including Cillian Murphy, Chris Evans, Michelle Yeoh, Hiroyuki Sanada, Benedict Wong, Cliff Curtis and Rose Byrne as scientists/astronauts on a mission to restart a dying sun before the Earth freezes.
Sunshine features all of the usual space movie tropes, including dangerous external repair job, a mysterious Sos beacon, and a disastrous previous mission, but the film’s legacy is an unconventional third act that turns the film into a slasher courtesy of mysterious character Pinbacker (Mark Strong).

Sabrina Carpenter has written dozens of songs. However, she said one piece of music told her life story. The track has a bit of a dark undercurrent. Interestingly, the tune is part of a genre that many casual fans associate with Justin Bieber.
Sabrina Carpenter’s life story is very different from a Disney movie
During a 2018 interview with Teen Vogue, Carpenter created a playlist of the tunes that defined her life. The playlist included classic tracks by The Carpenters, The Beatles, Christina Aguilera, Abba, Etta James, Skeeter Davis, and Santana, as well as one of Carpenter’s own songs: “Almost Love.” Many artists have created playlists for Teen Vogue, but Carpenter broke the rules by including one of her own songs. That’s fine because the best artists break the rules and Carpenter gave fans a lot of insight into her life when she spoke about “Almost Love.”

Sabrina Carpenter’s songs are some of the best pop music in recent memory. During an interview, the “Espresso” singer explained the first thing she does when she writes a song. She also revealed that she has mixed feelings about the expectations pop stars face.
Sabrina Carpenter begins writing songs with 1 thing
In a 2024 Interview Magazine article, Carpenter was asked how she came up with her song titles. “Ooh, good question,” she replied. “I choose the names of my songs by things I feel would jump out at me on a piece of paper, and usually my songs start with titles.” The “Nonsense” singer gave an interesting answer, as sometimes songwriters will only come up with song titles after the rest of their composition is complete.

Sabrina Carpenter’s “Nonsense” is some of the most unusual pop music in recent memory. Interestingly, it was not Carpenter’s idea of a surefire hit. The “Espresso” singer revealed what was going through her head when she wrote the track and how she felt about the tune’s unexpected popularity.
Sabrina Carpenter worried ‘Nonsense’ would discredit her other songs
In a 2024 Interview Magazine article, Carpenter revealed what was going through her head when she wrote “Nonsense.” “I was at a really, really low point in my life about two years ago, so I was writing very few optimistic love songs,” she said. “That one always stuck out, but I felt like it might discredit some of the songs on the album that were about more sensitive subjects, so it almost didn’t make it in.

Epic Games made a revolution in gaming with Fortnite. The battle royale title went beyond just the collaboration and is forming its own universe within the actual game. Various very popular franchises have been in Fortnite, like Marvel, Star Wars, other videogame characters, and even music stars like Ariana Grande and recently Lady Gaga.
But new leaks are pointing to what will be coming next in Fortnite. It appears that a Greek-themed season is near with the popular gods of this mythology as protagonists; this could also mean a famous Homer to be in the game and not the one from the odyssey.
