- Three couples who get separated from each other due to an evil ploy, reincarnate after 600 years and meet each other as history repeats itself again and their respective partners get mixed up this time.

- Brothers Harry, Max, and Roy run a salon in London and are in debt to Don Michael Bhai. In order to clear their debts, they plan to marry three rich sisters--Kriti, Pooja, and Neha--and have a destination wedding at Sitamgar. Upon reaching Sitamgar, Harry finds that all of them are reincarnations of people who lived 600 years ago and were killed by Gama on their wedding day. In this life, they are getting married to different women than the ones they loved in their previous life. - Harry (Akshay Kumar) is a barber in London and has frequent dreams about his past life in India. Harry also a strange problem that he loses his recent memory whenever there is a loud noise. Max (Bobby Deol) is Harry's brother and looks out for him, so that people don't take advantage of his forgetfulness. Roy (Riteish Deshmukh) works in their barber shop and gets his genders mixed up.
The trio owes Michael Bhai (Sharad Kelkar) 5 MM pounds, which Harry laundered in a washing machine, when Michael had given them the cash to hide, while he was running from the police. Big Bhai (Manoj Pahwa) is Michael's right-hand man and enforcer. The plan to return Michael's money is that the guys are dating the Thakral's daughters and if they marry, the guys will be able to pay back Michael. Harry is dating Pooja (Pooja Hedge), Max is dating Kriti (Kriti Sanon) and Roy is dating Neha (Kriti Kharbanda).
BTW Thakral (Ranjeet) himself is a perv but maintains his clean image in front of his daughters. At an incident at Thakral farms Harry saves Kriti from death. Roy saves Pooja and Max saves Neha. Thakral decides to host a destination wedding at their ancestral property in Sitamgarh, India. Winston Churchgate (Johnny Lever) is the manager of the Sitamgarh fort, which is now a hotel. Aakhri Pasta (Chunky Pandey) is a bell boy and greets Thakral as Maharaja Surya Singh Rana, Harry as Rajkumar Bala Dev Singh, Max as bodyguard Dharamputra and Roy and dance teacher Bangdu Maharaj.
Harry has visions in Sitamgarh. In 1419 Sitamgarh, neighboring kingdom of Madhavgarh is ruled by Maharaja Parikshitap (Parikshit Sahni). Bala is Parikshitap's son. Bala is bald and removes all hair of anyone who makes fun of him. Parikshitap is fed up of complaints for Bala. Bala also wants to assassinate the King and keeps goading his guards to stab the king, but they refuse. The King finds out and banishes Bala. Pehla Pasta (Chunkey Pandey) was Bala's court jester and is also banished for conspiring with Bala. Their new plan is to marry the eldest daughter Madhu (Kriti Sanon) of the King Rana of Sitamgarh and then attack Madhavgarh with its army. Madhu's sisters are Mala (Pooja Hedge) and Meena (Kriti Kharbanda). Bangdu Maharaj is the dance teacher to the princesses & has the hots for Mala.
Bala is bemused since Bangdu used to be a dance teacher at Madhavgarh and was given the death sentence by Bala, but Bangdu escapes. Bangdu tells Bala that Madhu has a bodyguard names Dharamputra, whom Bala will have to negotiate in order to get to Madhu. Dharamputra has the hots for Meena. So, Bala enlists the help of Meena to help him get to Madhu, while she can get to Dharamputra. Meena tells Dharamputra that he drank and had sex with her. Dharam wants to kill himself, but Bala assures him that he will be able to marry Meena, if everyone can help him marry Madhu. The gang succeeds in pushing Madhu to fall in love with Bala.
But Surya Rana declares a Swayamvar for the princesses. Surya Bhan is a general of the army and wants to marry Madhu. But Bala rigs the Swayamvar so that he, Bandgu and Dharamputra win. Surya Bhan is livid and invites warlord Raja Gama (Rana Daggubati) to attack the kingdom of Sitamgarh. As Gama enters Sitamgarh, Bala wants to run away and tells Madhu that all he did was to get her kingdom. Madhu is heartbroken and tells Bala that she truly loved him. Gama enters the court and start attacking the royal family. The court pillars are damaged and the roof falls killing everyone underneath.
Back in 2019, Harry realizes they are with the wrong girls. He tries to fix things by getting the right guys to go after their right life partners from the previous life, but only ends up creating confusion and everyone thinks he has gone mad. Harry realizes that people are remembering their past life if they encounter something personal from 600 years ago. when nothing works Thakral takes Harry to Ramsey Baba (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) is the hills, so that he can be released from his evil possessions. There Roy gets back his memories from 1419 and now believes Harry. Coming back to Sitamgarh Max fights Harry about his delusions and suddenly gets his memories from 1419 and now knows that Harry is right.
But now the wedding ceremony is in full swing and the cousin of the 3 sisters Pappu Rangeela is in town. The guys recognize him as Gama. Pappu doesn't have his memory back yet. Pasta finds an old portrait of the royal family in the castle and the guys want to show this to the girls to rejig their memories. By mistake Harry delivers the poster to Pappu, who has a look and remembers that he is Gama. During Gama's attack the girls also get back their memories one by one. Michael Bhai arrives and turns out that he is a re-incarnation of Surya Bhan. Michael shoots Pappu. Harry thinks Michael is helping them. But then Kriti gets her memory back and remembers that Surya Bhan had collapsed the roof by sabotaging the columns. Surya Bhan admits that he killed Gama and his brother as well. Gama gets up and kills Michael/Surya Bhan by collapsing the roof of the Mandap on Surya Bhan this time around.
