First Kannada Movie to release in 5 Languages (Kannada,Hindi,Tamil,Telugu,Malayalam)
Became the highest grossing Kannada language film of all time upon release, surpassing Raajakumara (2017) by over 3 times with a worldwide gross of 2.5 billion Indian Rupees (almost 31 million US Dollars), a position it held until 2022, when it was surpassed by its own sequel, K.G.F: Chapter 2 (2022).
The film became the first Kannada film to cross 100, 200 and 250 crores rupee at the box office.
K.G.F: Chapter 1 became the fourth highest grossing Hindi dubbed film after the Baahubali franchise and 2.0.
Beauty Pageant winner and actress Srinidhi Shetty had received many film offers after winning he titles of Miss Karnataka and Miss Supranational 2016, so she had rejected seven films to land the leading role in 'K.G.F'.
