We could all use a vacation. Wouldn’t it be nice to kick back, tuck into a good book, sip alcohol from a coconut, and dine on portions of fancy food a bird would say is minuscule? Luckily, Slater King (Channing Tatum) wants us to join him on his private island for a well-deserved rest. It’s a getaway where phones are discouraged, naps in the sun are mandatory, and memory loss is one of the paradise’s many amenities. Wait, what? Unfortunately, people who visit Slater’s island tend to lose themselves, and nothing is what it seems. In the latest Blink Twice trailer, Zoë Kravitz’s directorial debut welcomes audiences to a dystopia as deadly as it is picturesque.
Here’s the official synopsis for Blink Twice courtesy of Warner Bros. Discovery:

Amazon MGM will be giving the thriller Pussy Island a global theatrical release on August 23rd – but, to the shock and surprise of no one, they also changed the title, dropping the Pussy and renaming the film Blink Twice. With the release date just a couple months away, a poster for Blink Twice has arrived online, and you can check it out at the bottom of this article.
The feature directorial debut of Zoë Kravitz, who played Catwoman in The Batman, the film will follow Frida, a young, clever, Los Angeles cocktail waitress who has her eyes set on the prize: philanthropist and tech mogul Slater King. When she skillfully maneuvers her way into King’s inner circle and ultimately an intimate gathering on his private island, she is ready for a journey of a lifetime. Despite the epic setting, beautiful people, ever-flowing champagne and late-night dance parties, Frida can...

Amazon MGM has announced (via Deadline) that they will be giving the thriller Pussy Island a global theatrical release on August 23rd – but, to the shock and surprise of no one, they’re not actually going to be releasing the film under the title Pussy Island. The feature directorial debut of Zoë Kravitz (who played Catwoman in The Batman), the thriller is now going by the title Blink Twice. By giving the film a more public-friendly title, they’ve just saved some members of the public from having to protest the fact that a movie called Pussy Island is showing at their local theatre.
Written by Kravitz and E.T. Feigenbaum, the film will follow Frida, a young, clever, Los Angeles cocktail waitress who has her eyes set on the prize: philanthropist and tech mogul Slater King. When she skillfully maneuvers her way into King’s inner circle and ultimately an...

Few things are as universally creepy as an old-fashioned urban legend. Kept alive through scary retellings at sleepovers and campfire tales, the information age ushered in by the internet had all but killed the wonder and fascination with these stories. That is until a new form of urban legend was born — the creepypasta. Slenderman is arguably the most well-known creepypasta, with the online meme unfortunately inspiring a very real murder attempt. This real-life violence has now allowed creepypastas to reignite the torch of power that the Internet extinguished from classic urban legends, and has given horror creatives a whole new playground to explore.

Since its inception in 2015, Crypt TV has been producing original horror-themed content and looking to build a universe of monsters that are all interconnected — a Marvel universe of monsters, if you will. The streaming service was founded by Jack Davis and Eli Roth and backed by Blumhouse Productions as well as Lerer Hippeau, NBC Universal & Advancit Capital — and leading the charge in all of its content is Cco Kate Krantz.
Krantz finds herself in am exec position in a space that is primarily male — something that isn’t uncommon in the industry, but in horror it seems to be very noticeable. Prior to Crypt TV, Krantz cut her teeth at Wme and Disney, which she says cultivated her own aesthetic as a curator.

Crypt TV, the digital studio founded by Eli Roth and Jack Davis and backed by Jason Blum, expanded its deal with Facebook, inking a content partnership to create a slate of five horror and monster-themed series exclusively for Facebook Watch.
For Facebook Watch, it’s one of the first deals for a full slate of content from a partner — as opposed to deals for one-off shows, as it has been doing to date. The goal: to build a personalized, social-video experience for Facebook Watch from digital partners like Crypt TV that have a strong brand and loyal following on Facebook.
Crypt TV, founded in 2015, has 3 million followers on Facebook and initially launched with Facebook as its primary exclusive platform in the first two years of the company.
Facebook has agreed to fund five new series, each approximately 10 episodes, under the pact. Facebook Watch and Crypt TV are currently in active development on other shows.

Crypt TV has been building a world of monsters and living nightmares for years, and one of the most haunting creations from their eerie arsenal is The Look-See, a web series featuring one malicious and mysterious creature with an eyeless face and toothy grin. If you've been eager to unearth more mysteries of The Look-See, then you'll be pleased to know that Crypt TV has renewed the series for a four-episode second season premiering on July 24th:
Here's what Crypt TV CEO Jack Davis had to say about the renewal of The Look-See:
"The Look-See is one of the very best monsters in Crypt TV's monster universe. The reason we are renewing Look-See for a 2nd season is simple: the incredible outpouring of fan excitement. It's amazing to see our community present their theories on the origins of this monster and we are so excited to welcome James to the cast.
