The only reason not to stop watching mid way is the last hopes that your time was not completely thrown in the gabage bin. Give me 5 dollars for the battery of the camera and you will get a much better result.

Garbage. Absolute b (or f) quality garbage. There's no way this got a legit 6.5 here.

Obviously the people rating this highly are either involved in the production or have been asked by somebody involved in the production to review kindly, OR, some reviewers are rather upset at being duped by the false reviews and want you to suffer as they did.

This IS a low budget movie, they obviously spent most of their budget on the smoking contracts and the demon materialisation effects. Reminded me of early episodes of Charmed, but done cheaper.

Although not a total stinker, it won't be on any recommendation lists.

Ok. Seriously though, this is like going back in time and watching a JCVD flick with awesome martial arts skills and action but with a better story and some amazing visual affects. I really enjoyed this flick!

Can't believe the score for this truly crap film. Cheesey. Terrible acting. The worse visual effects ever. This is just a few friends gettin together to make a film .......and it shows. Ineptitude in virtual all aspects of this production. Clearly they got lots o friends and family to sign up and rate it high. Even they can't save it from being the turd it clearly is.

Seriously, looks like the cast all added their own reviews to bring up the average. About 18 seconds in you'll hear its a crap movie just judging from the sound. Another few seconds the acting and camera work will confirm it!

To put it simply, don't waste your time with this movie.

We have a new contender for worst movie ever. I watched thousands of movies and this one is definitely in the top ten worst movies I ever watched. Unlike the fake reviewers on here that only reviewed this movie because they are friends with somebody that participated in this garbage I reviewed thousands so you've been warned. From the first second of the movie you already get that nasty feeling you made a big mistake here, and if you're like me, watching every second once you started watching a movie, no matter how bad it is, you are definitely going to need a vomit bucket. The acting is out of control bad, it's cringing to watch. The script looks like it's written by some bible thumper, it's beyond bad. In fact the whole production is bad, the cinematography looks amateuristic, the soundtrack couldn't be worse, there's just nothing good about this movie. I laughed more than a few times, not for the comedy, but with the bad quality of this stinker. Every time you think a scene couldn't get worse they managed to make the next one worse, that's the only achievement they made here.

Anyone can notice sinse the beginning that is a poor movie on everything. it is very bad, so pity that on IMDB can find this kind of rating,,,,,

Fake reviews made a good rating.

It is not about low budget. The story is not so bad either. But the movie... I can not understand how somebody spent any money, or effort, or time to make this. It is fun to watch it for fun: on the end You will believe that You can make better movie than this. You can't make it worst.

I really didn't expect much when I started watching the movie but I was pleasantly surprised. The action scenes really pack a punch and I haven't seen that kind of choreography in a long time. You get to see everything that's going on and they don't feel jarring or disorienting. There were a couple fight scenes in there that reminded me of movies like The Raid or Undisputed 2. The music in those scenes is awesome too.

I liked the characters, especially the lead and the angel, and the story has a surprising depth to it. It's got a unique concept going for it and I wanted to see more of this world.

The visual effects look very real too. But like the story, I wish there were more of them.

There's a couple scenes that just look plain empty, and the set design is really inconsistent. But considering that the movie had such a low budget, these were probably business related choices and not necessarily artistic ones.

All in all, I found the movie entertaining and I hope they get a chance to expand this world with a sequel.

It's certainly better than the new Stallone movie. Anyhow, of course this is hand-made and not a lot of money for effects or stunts and all of that, but somehow I liked the roughness of it all. It doesn't totally suck you in, it's rather like watching people play out the moral dilemma, with a bit of a 'ploitation here and there. Certainly better than frying your brain with over-financed crap, $150M visual effects that try to make up for the total lack of any story.

At least Soul Hunters has a story to tell. It has loads of edges, but it makes it stand out from all the streamlined junk Hollywood seems to be producing these years.

Don't fooled by IMDB rating, all 8+ rating are paid. I can barely watch 20min and now i want my 20min back! worse acting, no action, no special effect, no strong story line, just talk talk and talk, without any reason they are talking with serious face!!!

Woah! If you like mixed martial arts, awesome choreography and realism to fights. This is the movie for you. I am a 1st Dan WTF black belt in TaeKwonDo. I thought it was very cool to see some Olympic style techniques in some of the fights. Very cool! And a great movie that would be a massive hit if it had the deserved budget. Great story, great acting,... small budget. It was a fun movie. Don't know how some people are putting up a 1 rating.. smh. It's definitely worth a watch, and one you could watch over and over again. ESPECIALLY the fights!!

Horrible is an understatement to describe how bad this movie is. It doesn't even deserve 1/10. The plot, the acting, the fighting are super lousy. Don't waste your precious time to watch this garbage.

This movie has some reviews with 10/10 and 9/10 ,(reason I bought it). I can only assume that the people associated with this "film" are the ones who posted those. ratings. It's VERY poorly made on a low budget. The entire movie is filmed with no more than 2 cameras. It has a ridiculous plot and I've seen better acting in grammar school plays. If a "real critic" was to give this more than 2 stars, he or she would be fired the next day. Just awful!

Never have I seen so much wooden acting in one place, unbearable, unwatchable, most 10 star ratings come from new accounts with 1 comment, made probably by people involved in the production

IMDB used to be such a great source for finding quality films but the number of fake reviews has killed its credibility, which means the user suffers.

There is no way to put it, other than bluntly - THIS MOVIE IS TERRIBLE! Before doing anything, take a quick look at the number of 10:10 reviews, with nothing but lauding how perfect a film Soul Hunters is. As soon as you've done that, watch the trailer. If you do those two things, and in that order, you won't even need to watch the film...you'll know how bad it is. Seriously...if there is just ONE REVIEW that you take seriously, let it be this one. It'll save you 100 minutes of your life.

Just watch the trailer and you'll hear the atrocious audio. They had to have recorded the audio with the camera mic. The woman is particularly bad at annunciating her lines, it sounds like she is hissing and peaking the mic every line.

I'm usually weary of movies with the same director/producer/writer. Hopefully this serves as a warning to others. It seems like this is their first time producing a movie and it shows. As for the writing, they should have worked on the script more. It seemed like they finished a first draft and jumped start into production. Save yourselves, don't watch

Imagine Jean-Claude Van Damme in the movie Constantine. It's got mystery, magic, action, angels, demons, guns and badass spin kicks. Fight scenes are great and there's a couple beautiful women in there as well. What else do you really need to make 2019s new cult classic?

The story was great. The action was good. The special effects were few but well done and added to the story. I came upon this during a search for "what am I going to watch tonight"? I decided to try it out and I am glad that I did.

My new favorite quote, "Just because you stepped out of the path doesn't mean that you can't get back on the path!".

The ending scene was fantastic. Almost started to cheer on my couch!

This film had all the qualities of being a block-buster! However, it failed miserably on quite a few points!

Lets first give praise, where praise is due:

The actors, Zach Scheerer,Franziska Schissler and Nikolay Moss managed to save this film through their very decent acting skills. I hope to see more of these three actors in the future. The rest of the cast... Well, lets just say, you need to work on your dialogue skills much more! Just a pretty face wont land you the next major roll.

The story overall was well thought out. The writers and directors (The Acevedo Smith Brothers) have a decent concept going here, that if tweaked a bit more could definitely end up in a good TV Series.

The special effects artist - well done. The few effects that there were in the film were realistic and well presented.

Overall, the film lacked presence and depth with minimal sets and props.

I give this film 5 stars out of 10. 1 for each of the three actors, one for the Acevedo Smith Brothers for the story and one for the special effects artist.
